Raven sighed in relief, leaning against a wall. He was out of spells for today, so he'd need to rest, so he can restock on them.

You are sleeping 8 hours, and gain 1 HP through natural Healing, and Vorpal and do any additional necessary patch-ups in the morning.

Ritz, and John, you can reprepare your spells.

RItz, I recommend you prepare something other than Cures. Something good to remember is that one of your Animal Companion's abilities is Share Spells, so any buffs you cast on yourself can apply to your Animal Companion, and also Druids have some good offensive and battlefield control spells. Entangle, Produce Flame, etc. Three 0 level spells, and 2 first level spells.

John, since you chose Diviner, you have one Spell slot of each level for a divination spell, that can be filled with nothing else, and 2 first level spells, of any school, and 3 zero level from your spell book. Choose wisely)


Also, who is standing watch? Vorpal is regaining his spells and needs to sleep, the only non casters are Emris, and Anastasia

Read Magic, Dancing Lights, Ray of Frost, Light.

Identify, Magic Missile, Color Spray.

Ritz keeps Flare and Guidance while preparing Entangle. (If her old spells need to be renewed or what have you, then she re-prepares more Flare spells and Guidance.)

Ritz orders Erimis to keep watch. The wolf is pleased to oblige and keeps an eye on the hallway that the goblin fled down.

Okay, nothing attacks over the course of the night and you awake, fresh and awake, ready to continue onward.

OOC: Sorry for the neglect, I have had a long and stressful week,

Anastasia woke up the next morning ready for action. She felt a lot better after her rest, and ate a light breakfast while she waited for her comrades to awaken.

Raven arose next, ready to get started, and ate some breakfast.

"Ready to go?" He asked Anastasia.

"I've been ready since last night." Anastasia rolled her eyes, already antsy. Epsil could be dead now, and at which point, she would stab Vorpalsheen for not letting her go sooner. She was on edge, very on edge.

It seems that during the night the torches faded away, and you are stranded in darkness again.

Vorpalsheen gets up, setting up a small prayer ritual to earn his Stone Father's Blessing.

He dons his armor and says

Ach, this stone be worthless. Smells ah sulfur and brim.
Lets be on our way, and we're quite lucky nah to be attacked in the night...
So, which way be ye wanting to go? I think this 'allway to the left scoots up a bit


He makes this assessment stepping into the left hallway, and feeling around.

Anastasia looked to Raven. "You. Halfling. Use that light spell you used last night." she snapped.

"Not until Ritz wakes up, the spell only works for a limited time, and we'll need to make the most of it, we have no idea how long it will take to find Epsil." Raven pointed out to the girl.

Roll for Diplomacy: 17

Erimis is already awake, not needing much sleep making him an effective guard. He trudges over to the resting Ritz and nudges her such that she awakens. "Looks like I overslept a bit," she states simply, rubbing her eyes while taking note that everyone else is up. She stands and brushes herself off. "Apologies, but I'm ready to go whenever." Her voice is rather stoic. She understands the fact that Epsil is in danger, but she does not even know the guy. Already she is risking her life for a stranger. What more can be asked of her?

"Alright, she's awake. Let's go." Anastasia snaps, and starts down the hallway Vorpalsheen suggested going through.

Raven casts light on Sir Voraplsheen's armor, before following the group through the hallway.

You march down the hallway, you travel down, and Vorpalsheen pipes up

Aye, I can tell this is goin' up an' around. Like a spiral.

Anastasia, Ritz

Anastasia noticed the doorway, and stops Vorpalsheen for a moment. Her curiousity was getting the better of her as she shoved him aside and examined the doorway.


(Is there a door in the doorway? If so, is it locked?)

(Well, a Doorway and a door are 2 different things, so no door, only a little excavated hole in the shape of a door. THese things don't seem too advanced.)

Anastasia looks to Raven. "Bring those lights in here. I want to look at this." she says, stepping inside.

Raven nodded, following after, while gesturing for Vorpalsheen, Ritz, and Erimis. to follow.

Ritz realizes they might as well, so she follows as Raven gestures and Erimis trails along behind her.
