In that picture, it looks like nature is doing what it's very well always done; taking back what was rightfully belonged to it
Instead, the opposite is true.
It's giving it back.Temples rose out of the ground, pillars spewed from the Earth's surface. An entire greek city, lost and forgotten, literally resurfacing from the earth. Unaware and curious, a group of teens go on a field trip to explore the site, which rapidly became the 8th Wonder of the world. But something goes terribly wrong, and, trapped inside of a temple, they find themselves being sucked back down into the Earth with the lost civilization.
