How do you define cold? Empty How do you define cold?

I tend to get in discussions a lot with Americans who find temperatures that are frankly quite warm for my tastes to be freezing cold. My question is, at what temperature do you personally consider it "cold"?

You're Canadian where you live in an igloo. Your warm is our cold.

I get cold in the 40F range.

I find -20 Celcius to be a bit too on the cold side. I can stand up to about -40, but after that point I avoid going outdoors unless absolutely necessary.

Anything below 25˚C. Even that's much.

-60 F is cold over here in North Dakota. Other than that we're perfectly fine at all times of the year. On the flip side, 100 degrees F is hot here.

Pff. Like 60 F is chilly, 50 F and below is cold. I have a low cold tolerance, though. Most people, 50 F is chilly, and like 30 F is cold. XD;;

I'm generally fine with cold until it drops under zero Fahrenheit. Ninety is when it starts getting hot, but it was over a hundred almost every day this summer here in Kansas, so I'll probably be freezing balls in ranges where I usually wouldn't be bothered.

I get cold in the house at 70 degrees and sometimes even 80. 60 is like death walking the Earth.

I wore my jacket all last summer when it was 100 and 100+ V . V

WHOA, that would be about minus 50˚C - are you sure there aren't any polar bears around there?

We had a flash freezing recently, actually - it was around 20˚C outside. 20!
