The Haunted House on the Hill

"Woof," Denny replied, shaking his head and spraying water on anyone nearby. He kept poking Angel, determined to find her ticklish spot and make her feel better.

"Do I have to stuff your head in the sink or something? Seriously, cut it out." Angel rolled her eyes, and clogged the sink before she turned on the water.

"Go ahead, Angel, but I will find out what is wrong, for I am your friend, and that is what friends do!" Denny shouted, putting on his best heroic voice.

"Denny, what are you yelling about?" Elizabeth asked.

"You know full well what's wrong, Singles." Angel said darkly.

"Angel's upset about something, and she won't tell me what," Denny told Elizabeth, before turning back to Angel and poking her stomach again. "Uh, I seriously have no idea what's wrong with you, unless you mean you're still upset about the other time loop. Which you shouldn't be, because we're all alive again."

"Of course she's upset! She has every right to be!" Elizabeth frowned.

"I am still upset about it. And the fact I watched you die is enough for me." Angel sighed, and turned the water off, unclogging the sink then throwing her cup in. "Stay here, all of you." she said, and walked to the door.

"Hell no!" Joseph said, following her.

"Hey, hey, hey, where do you think you're going?" Denny asked, grabbing Angel's wrist.

"I'm going to find a way to get us out of here." Angel said darkly, pulling away. She checked to make sure her gun was in her boot. Somehow, it went back with her, but she needed to go get more. "It's dangerous for you all, I have to go alone."

"Angel, that makes no sense." Joseph said. "I'm going with you."

"Horror movie rule, don't go alone," Denny reminded her.

"It makes perfect sense. You don't know what you're getting into right now. You will in the future, just not now. Now isn't the time. I can handle it. I'll be fine. I have a gun in my boot, and chances are, if you come with me, it'll come after me first, then it'll get you. You are in twice as much danger if you come with me. I am a Steve and Squooshy magnet." Angel shook her head. "No, you're not coming."

"If it's after you, you shouldn't go out..." Denny sighed.

"I made a deal, and if I stay in this room, we might be all fucked. I have to go out." Angel said.

Denny scowled. "Fine, go. If you get yourself hurt, I'm gonna hunt you down in the after life and beat the shit out of you."

"No." Joseph said. "I'm not letting you go alone."

"Joseph, stay. Please." Angel said, giving him a pleading look.

"Angel, what your doing is stupid, and reckless." Joseph said. "You're not going alone, and that's final."

"You know full well I'm reckless and stupid. I'm a professional at reckless and stupid. This is my thing, not yours. Stay put." Angel said.

"No." Joseph said. No matter what she said, he was not letting her go alone.

"Denny, help me out here." Angel said. "Make it so he doesn't come, because I am going alone."

"No you aren't." Joseph said.

"Yes, I am." Angel said.

"No." Joseph said. "And that's final."

Angel sighed. "You're too stubborn. But the second I say run, you run. Leave me behind." Angel said.
