"Solanum" -Our Struggle

"Go where?" Anto replied, beginning to wonder if his friend had suffered minor brain damage.

Michael had run up to the roof. "I'm here."

"The roof?" Louis retorted before turning to Skyla. "Let me use your other Tonfa."

Tuula kept her eyes shut, her breathing ragged and panicked.

"Are you retarded?" Anto asked flatly.

"There's nowhere else to go now." Louis retorted.

"It's okay..." Michael tried to soothe the girl.

"Mike!" Mari yelled, running towards her brother.

Skylar turned to Louis and gave him a glare before moving to whack Anto.

"Fuck that you herbivore. Carry him up."

Joseph sighed in relief at Michael. "Ok...we need a plan."

"It's too chaotic to go down now, but my van is in the parking lot." Joseph wrote, pulling out his keys for a moment, before putting them away for safety.

Tuula looked at Mike with wide eyes, starting to speak rapidly in Finnish to him, asking him who he was, what was going on, what was going to happen to them, et cetera.

Anto took the smack on the back of his head, causing him to understandably black out, oblivious to his abduction.

Madison rolled her eyes. "Whatever," she muttered as she high-kicked a zombie in the head, her cleats sinking into the undead flesh, before quickly pulling back and heading up the stairs. I really wish I had an actual weapon right now...

Louis sighed and caught his friend before hefting him into a fireman's carry. "Alright... let's go."

Haylee laughed manically, jumping and dodging around lone zombies, cutting out the tendons in their legs so they couldn't follow, occasionally kicking a downed one in the head to kill it. If there was ever a swarm headed her way she'd simply turn back and jump around and over the faceplanted zombies and take a different route.

Skylar gave Louis a nod as he whacked another zombie. Stay in control. Don't let that sadistic side take ahold again. Not the best time to be sadistic...God dammit, I hate flocking together.

He let Louis and the girl lead while he covered the back, beating off any zombies and slash or any other class mates, teachers, with ease.

Michael nodded to Joseph while lookign slightly confused and Tuula's rapid fire speech.

Tuula stopped, seemingly realizing what she was doing, before taking a deep breath. "Best...not English," she frowned. That didn't sound right.

"Oh." Michael replied.

Joseph nodded to Tuula. "I can probably symphasize...unless you aren't good at reading it as well...

Tuula stared at the notebook for several seconds. "Easier reading," she responded. "Hard listening."

Joseph nodded. "I don't speak at all"

On the floor above Louis, Skylar, and the unconsious Anto...

Elena acreamed as she ran down the hall, towards the stairs, about a half dozen zombies rushing after her. This can't be happening...this can't be happening...this can't be happening...

All four heard the scream. Michael got his bat ready. "I'll be back."

Mari ran to her brother. "No, goddammit!"

But the teen had already taken off.

Joseph had already dashed off before Michael. Wasn't that...

Elea qucikly tried to dash up the stairs, only to trip., letting out a sharp scream. Damnit...not now...

Mari swore, and rummaged in her bag, taking out a pen and running after them.
