The Overlord's Court

"Of course." The Overlord said with a smile. "I'll speak to the chef, please ask one of the maids to guid you to the dining room, withn an hour." He said as he ook her hand and kissed it. "Until then, rincess..." He said, before leaving the room.

Stella smiled at the Overlord, and nodded in agreement to his terms. She was tempted to sneak into his bedroom to look and find anything interesting, but she figured it was too early for this. She had to gain his trust first before she did that. It was best to start wandering.

OOC: Sure.

In an hour, Stella went to her room and dressed in a red and gold dress with long sleeves for dinner, as well as her gold crown of leaves from home. She found one of the maids and requested that she be led down to the dining room for dinner. The maid happily obliged, and she was brought down to an extravagant dining room. He doesn't hold anything back with elegance, does he? she thought as she gazed around the beautiful room.

"Ah Princess, I'm so glad you could make it." The Overlord said, as he stepped over towards the young woman. He was currently wearing a formal outfit, consisting of the colors blue and silver, while a blood red cape hanged from his shoulders. "Please, sit with me." He said with a bow.

"Of course, my lord." Stella smiled, and curtsied. "You look dashing this evening."

"And you look astoundingly lovely, my dear princess." The Overlord said, as he led her to one end of the table, and pulled out a chair for her.

"Thank you." she said with a small smile, and sat in the chair offered to her. This Overlord was surprisingly chivalrous, not something Stella saw in the men as of late. It had to be fake. It had to be.

The Overlord just smiled at the pricess as he took a seat at the head of the table, looking at the small feast that had been prepared for the two. "So princess, how was your tour of the castle?" Isaiah asked the young girl.

"I enjoyed it very much. I hadn't quite gotten everywhere though. Perhaps that ought to wait until tomorrow. But your castle is lovely. You don't hold anything back when it comes to decor, do you?" Stella smiled, and eyed the food. It all looked delicious.

"I'm pleased to hear you say that, and please, feel free to start eating." The Overlord said.

For the dinner guard, Zerez was one of the knights posted on duty.

Kyruna, was still in the library. She didn't notice the time.

Stella smiled and helped herself to a pot of soup that was close to her as well as a leg of chicken.

Magnus was up in one of the towers, reading over reports from the men stationed at the time of the surrender and even earlier during the war. He wanted to see how his men acted out on the battlefield even when he wasn't there, and also to see if tactics needed to be brushed up on.

Isaiah began eating himself, enjoing the meal the chef had prepared for them.

"So..." she said between bites of soup. "What do you like to do around the castle here, my lord?" Stella gave him a questioning look.

"There is a great many things to do here." The Overlord said. "I personally enjoy readin through the books of our great library, magic training, combat training, and occasionally enjoying a nice conversation with someone." He explained. "But a lot of the time, I'll be bus with council meetings, and attending political events."

Zerez stood there, watching over them.

OOC: Book, we've got the Eva event occuring at DW.

OOC: Back, and just posted, Ra.

"I understand you can control all eight of the elements?" Stella aasked, sticking another spoonful of soup in her mouth.

"Why yes." The Overlord said, as he finished a chicken breast. "It's an inherited ability."

"Unfortunately my older brother got mine." Stella laughed. "Or I just haven't practiced enough. I don't know. I only have water, light, and air."

"Hmm..." The Overlord said. "Then how about I give you some lessons sometime, if you'd like?"

"I'd like that." Stella said with a genuine smile.

"As would I..." The Overlord said with an actual smile of his own, as he finished his meal.
