ASF Username Usage

Okay, so for those who don't even know what the fuck ASF is, it's an original fic I wrote and posted on this site by the name of A Servant's Fate. I'm actually in the process of finishing the manuscript (i.e. pulling together a cover letter, proofreading, editing, and adding commentary) in order to get the thing published. For the characters of the story, I named them after the members of this site. As such, if you decide to read it, don't be surprised to see your username pop up. However, before publishing it, I wanted to know if anyone was adamantly against having their username even mentioned in the story. If so, I can change the name of that character with great ease, albeit I would find that immensely disheartening. I'm already mentioning Magnolia in the dedications section, and really, I wouldn't have been driven to do this without you guys, so that's why the username thing is so important to me. But like I said, if you're THAT against having it in the story, then just post here stating that you wish to have your username removed and it will be done.

The editing process will take a few days, but I won't be mailing this son of a bitch off until I move in a few weeks, so you've got time to post. Absence of a post expressing disdain signifies that you are fine with having your username in the published story. Complaints won't be tolerated because I have gone out of my way via this manner to make sure you had your chance to pull out of it. Thank you.

It'll take a couple of years for it to hit the shelf, so everyone has plenty of time. ^ ^; The publishing process is really long. x-x

And the people at the publishing house will do the design for the cover. Turns out, I don't really have much of a say in how things go once I land a contract. ^ ^;;; At least not as a first-time author. Depends on if they like me and if they like my idea.
