(Fandom) Unwind

There was a second Civil War in the not so far future, over Pro-Life and Pro-Choice. In order to stop the bloodshed, the American government proposed that all life between conceivement and the age of 13 is unviolable. However, between 13 and 18, parents have the option of having their teen "unwound," which is essentially being dismembered and your parts are stored for transplants for the non-Unwinds. The idea behind it was that you're still alive, only in a divided state. Reasons for being unwound include religious reasons, budget cuts in state homes, or you're just too big of a problem. If you run, you'll just be unwound faster if you're caught.

You are an Unwind, however you know full well that unwinding is a death sentence. So you run away, and you're on a journey to get the The Graveyard, a place where old planes are stored to rot, and also a safe haven for Unwinds until you're 18. This is the story of your journey.
