The Illuminati are the ones that control the economy, world governments, and the media. They control most every country except for "Third World" countries. Illuminati also means "Enlightened Ones." They enjoy controlling things as all humans subconsciously do.

I think they're involved in MJ's death. He didn't want to be one of their "puppets" so they started up the child molesting scandal and gave him the disease that made him white. He had said in an interview once that the disease wasn't contracted naturally. Once they cleared him of the charges, the Illuminati had to get rid of him, and thus, he was murdered.
