This.. Now I'm not a very good artist but I do mess around with stuff, to see what works.
I'm not so much a photographer either, but I love taking pictures with my really crap, tourist-looking camera. I want a high quality one, but I'm poor :T.
And I'm not so much a graphic designer either, but I used to aspire to be one, once upon a time.. Until my dreams were crushed when seeing work better than my mentor's.
AND ... I'm not much of a poet either, and I haven't written anything since the age of 13 or something.. But I'll showcase my old work for your entertainment.

Doodles:

When I say doodle, I really mean doodle. I spend no more than 10 minutes on these, they're not good o.o;;

Photography:

I used several cameras. Hah.

Graphics:

There are only a few because my graphics database is in my external HD right
now. I cbf to get it. Don't get your hopes up because I said database.
The ones there are much much worse than these you see here.
Oh, also, as I'd like to give credit for whatever it is I do, I'll try to include some original render links and stuff.

Welp, I used to use GIMP but it seemed to lack some things(It's still a great program though, I made that Neku sig and both the Aigis set with it) but now I use PS CS5. I never gave it a thought because I downloaded it once and had no idea what to do, it's a lot more difficult to use, and the results are still unsatisfactory. I'd recommend GIMP.
Although it's not just recoloring my dear. Let's just say I had a really good teacher.

I use GIMP. I just don't know how to make sigs and stuff look that pretty.

TBH I don't recommend my style for gimp.
I'd use it for more defined shapes and stuff.
Gimp's good for rendering and stuff.

But I already have GIMP installed.... :/

GIMP is a gooood program~ Just tinker around with it!
Before my friend taught me anything, I made the Rena and Loli girl thing with GIMP.
Download brushes via Deviant Art and get some renders from BakaRenders or make them yourself.
I suggest rendering using a paths tool(I see you used an eraser, that's for touch up)

I like your doodles. Much better then mine. Mine consist of drawing boxes and triangles and coloring them in. Thats what ya get with boring college lectures though..
