How Would You Survive A Zombie Apocalypse?

Rules:
1.You can only have one weapon, and an explanation on how you got it.
2. You can have a bag that can carry no more that 20 pounds.
a. You can't have anything that runs out quickly or is hard to restock.
b. You can't have anything that spoils quickly (ex. ice cream). Fruits are good, though.
3. You must have a "base" that has access to food, water, and all the other necessities for survival.
4. Be realistic please~

Examples:
Mayari's:
Weapon: Arnis sticks. And then I'll attach a blade to the end of them.
Contents of my bag: A bottle of water, a long stick (long story), a watch, a lighter, a journal, and an Ipod + charger.
Base: My house. We have a garden with tomatoes, eggplant, and other vegetables, and Wawas and the 7-Eleven is just across the street. We also live near a canal.

Rose's (Old):
Weapon: AK-47 (because I won't let her have a machine gun).
Contents of her bag: Chocolate chip cookies, beer (WUT?), wash cloths, matches, manga, Ipod and charger, laptop and charger
Base: Grocery store.

Friend 1 AKA Our Russia
Weapon: Flamethrower which she stole from the government (I let her slide with this one because she's, like, our Russia)
Bag: DS and PSP + chargers, chocolate bars, 5 water bottles, about 20 pieces of paper, and pencils and lead (for drawing)
Base: Starbucks

Friend 2 AKA Mother Russia
Weapon: Butcher's knife. I have one in mah kitchen.
Bag: 2 extra knives, water cantine, multivites, freeze dried food, and a butt load of instant coffee so I can drink on the run. And poison darts.
Base: SuperWalmart.

I can't imagine Dani or Anna roleplaying. It's a scary thought.

Weapon: Khopesh (my friend has all kinds of kickass/functional swords)
Bag: Flashlight, matches, around 5 or so MREs, a few bottles of water, iodine, first aid hit, unfinished knives, binoculars
Base: On top of walmart. Steal bags of dirt/pots and seeds, just take whatever is needed from the store below and use it to start a garden. Plus, it's close to several other food stores, and a radio shack.

Weapon~ .22 lever-action rifle. Ammo is very easy to find, I own one, already have 1000+ammo in our house for it.

Since I'm not one to eat much, I can scavenge for whatever. I'm not one to set up 'base' anywhere, so my base would end up being mobile, probably a car or motorbike I find. I reckon there'll be plenty out and about for quite a while that are in working condition. Of course, it's no way to survive, but I figure I'd last longer than the average Joe would. In a zombie apocalypse, it's kinda really hard to survive alone.

Weapon: Crowbar (I'm sure we have one somewhere... *goes to find the crowbar*
Bag: Phone + charger, 5ish MREs (or whatever the Canadian civi ones are called) (no cheese omelet), brita water bottle, lighter, peroxide
Base: Not to copy, but Wal-Mart, as where I live there's a Future Shop, Home Depot, Safeway, and a bunch of other stores nearby. Plus I have 4 of my friends with me, each with similar packs (and weapons) (except one, who would most likely use his fencing foil)
