The Haunted House on the Hill

Denny chuckled, "I know." He took his hand, carefully cupping her cheek, before leaning in and barely pressing his lips to hers. No need to move too fast, he figured.

Elizabeth's eyes widened at the soft kiss, but she enjoyed it. She enjoyed the feeling of his hand on her cheek, it felt nice.

Denny pulled away slightly, looking Liz in the eye. "That wasn't too bad, was it? That's a good way to tell someone you like them."

"No, it was wonderful." Elizabeth said.

Denny smiled, poking her in the shoulder. "You like learning so much, and I'm going to teach you how to express your emotions, and one learns through doing, or something like that. So now it's your turn," he winked.

Elizabeth blushed, and pressed her own lips to his.

Denny pulled her closer for a second, before pushing away and patting her head like a small child. "Good job."

Elizabeth laughed. "Really? I didn't think I'd do well with it."

"Maybe you didn't do as well as the magnificent Denny, but you certainly look even cuter when you blush," Denny teased.

"Magnificent Denny? Really?" she laughed, blushing again.

"Yes, really," Denny smiled, brushing his hand against her cheek again. Why'd she have to be so cute?

"You stroke your own ego too much." she laughed. "But I like that about you."

Denny chuckled. "And you always find ways to prove me wrong."

"I prove a lot of people wrong." she said with a laugh, then looked up at him, staring into his eyes. She pulled him in for another kiss.

Denny wrapped his arm around Elizabeth's back in response, his other hand intertwining with her hair. He was having problems believing this was actually happening. He was actually kissing her.

Her arms wrapped around his neck, holding him and feeling his warmth on her. It was lovely.

Denny pulled away slightly, kissing Liz's forehead. "Everyone's probably wondering where we are..." he sighed.

"Or they're thinking odd thoughts." she said, knowing Angel's twisted sense of humor.

Denny groaned at the thought of all the sex jokes soon to come. "That'll be...fun."

"Unless Angel is asleep and missed everything. Which hopefully is the case." she sighed. "I wonder...."

"Wonder what?"

"I'll have to ask Angel about it later." Elizabeth said, shaking her head. "Don't worry about it."

Denny frowned, now actually worried about it. Oh well, she'd tell him if she thought he needed to know, so it shouldn't matter... He stood up with a sigh, looking towards the door. "We should go."

Elizabeth nodded, and pulled herself up as well. "Yes, we should."

Denny opened the door, stepping aside as he held it open for her, grinning cheekily.
