SBURB: A Homestuck RP

"Derse, the dark planet that opposes Prospit, and seeks the destruction of Skaia." Joey said.

"That... doesn't sound pleasant for a dream land." Amber said weakly.

"Oh no, the Dersites are actually quite nice." Joey said. "There are only five really bad ones, three of whom are on our side."

"Oh, that's nice. And the other two?" Amber asked.

"The King, and Queen." Joey said. "But the King is currently on the battlefield, and the Queen has locked herself up in her room."

"But there still...!" Amber sighed, floating down and sitting crosslegged on her bed. "So, why are we here?"

"We're the children who preside on Derse, while Jane and Vayne are the ones who preside on Prospit." Joey explained. "...Well, our dreamselves do...basically, half of the game is going on quests on our lands (You'll find out more about that later.), and the other half is dealing with stuff between the two kingdoms."

Vayn popped his neck and sighed. He had no idea what to do.
He flipped his knives out from underneath his sleeves. They were pretty simple knives, quite literally a single piece of straight metal, one half sharpened into a knife shape.
He hopped out his window (doors are too mainstream), and snatched up the two oddly-colored frogs sitting there. One was bright pink, the other a deep blue. He didn't know what to do with them, so he went back inside, and dug a box out of his closet, and stuck both of them in. He wasn't sure if they had any importance or not, but it's always better to be safe. The frog temple sure wasn't a hint or anything...
He looked over at his computer again. He needed Amber's help soon. He had literally no idea what to do.

XA: Amber!!!
XA: I'm going to need some help...

"...Oh." Amber said.

OOC: Dinner. Will reply later.

"Hey." A voice from behind Vayn called.

"Yeah..." Joey said. "Anyways, my dreamself should be sleeping in the other tower over there." He said pointing out the window to the other tower.

"Now that the Maid has awakened, they'll start wondering if the Heir has awaken as well.

Vayn nearly jumped out of his seat and hurled both knives at the location of the noise, but instead twitched, and turned around. "Yeah?" he said, trying to play it cool.

"It's me." Another Joey said, coming from around the corner of the house, dressed up in a Navy uniform.

"Nice uniform bro." he said, getting up. "So, uh...How'd you get here?" he asked. "And I'm confused. Is this like, somewhere else on earth, or what? Because I've never seen frogs that color before." he said, pointing to the box with a knife.

"No...this is a completely different planet...in a completely different universe." Joey explained. "Take a look at your computer, and you'll see something interesting."

Vayn nodded and turned back towards the computer.
"What am I supposed to see?"

On the screen, there were three Joey's, one of whom was a sprite.

"I am the Heir of Time, due to Time Shenanigans, I'm quite literally all over the place." J4 explained.

OOC: I'm adopting a new system, as to differentiate the Joey's.

Present Joey and JoeySprite will stay the same. Jane's Joey will be J2. Amber's Joey is J3. And Vayn's Joey is J4.

Amber started to feel a little dizzy. "I feel... like I should go back to bed..."

"Kay." J3 said. "Vayn's already in the game, so waking up now would be a good idea, so Jane can get you in."

"Game...?" Amber mumbled, falling back on the bed as her eyes got heavy...

When they opened again Amber was face to face with her Pesterchum handle, showing various messages from Vayne.

NV: I'm here. Sorry, really freaky things happened. What's wrong?

Vayn watched the multiple Joey's run across the screen for a while, then opened his pesterchum.


XA: Well the meteor almost hit my house.
XA: The damn sprite kept me from the cruxite artifact
XA: I just entered the medium. Any idea of where to go from here?


Vayn turns back to Joey. "What."

"I'm time-traveling, bro." J4 explained.

Vayn stayed quite for a moment. "I'm confused but I'm not going to ask any questions. Time travel shenanigans and all." he said,

J4 nodded. "Good, now, I'm going to explain to you about Alchemization."

XA: Amazing.
XA: Now hold on, Joey from the future is going to help me.
XA: I'll be back.

"Sounds interesting. What do I need?" he asked. He knew Alchemy was about transmutation, but with this game, it could mean anything...
