"That's okay too," Kaylee shrugged, "Nothing wrong with it."

Simon walked back into the room with a small bag of food. "Hey, I got some snack-"

"Yay, snacks!" Elena said happily, looking over at Simon. She turned back to her bag, frowning, and pulled out half of the clothes she had tried to pack. She kept forgetting not to pack for Lacy.

Simon laughed, handing a bag to Elena, before looking over to Kaylee. "Hello."

OOC: Is she wearing clothes right now?

"Hi there," Kaylee greeted cheerfully.

Elena continued to pack, humming to herself. She was glad that Simon was going. The fight seemed really scary. She was happy to get away from it.

Once Paul was done bullshitting around wherever he was, he decided to check out the Illuminati camp, cause why not?

Heidi choked a bit upon seeing Paul. It took her by surprise. She clenched her fists tightly, trying to keep her head down so she wouldn't get into a fight. She was going to see Eithne and tell him what a dumbass he was for getting taken over by the trigger.

Though beating Paul into a pulp was certainly looking more enjoyable at the moment.

Paul glanced around, helping one of the Illuminati with something or another after waving at Heidi. Something seemed wrong with her, but Tom was over there to help. Tom was probably better off helping her than he was.

"Okay, where the fuck is Eithne?" Heidi asked a bit snappishly, her agitation starting to go to her head. Occasionally she started glowing a pale red, but flicked her Flow back off again when she noticed.

Paul eventually wandered over to Heidi, having lost interest in the other people.

"Okay, you. You can stay the fuck away from me!" Heidi snapped when Paul started walking over, pointing accusingly at him.

Paul blinked, stopping for a second before shrugging and walking away. "Fair enough," he called back.

Heidi muttered something under her breath as he walked away, suddenly in a rather foul mood.

Paul wondered what her problem was, but shrugged and figured it wasn't his business. Yet.

Eithne sighed, sitting on top of the same rock he'd be sitting on before his brawl with Nathan. "I done goofed real good this time..." he murmured to himself, casting a sideways glance at the crater the pair of them had left. God damn it all... he just didn't know what to do anymore.

"Alright, Heidi, let's go," Tom replied, his voice calm, though he was vaguely interested as to what had inspired the vitriol towards Paul. He led the way towards Eithne, knowing Heidi well enough not to pry.

"Got someone to see you, Scotty," he announced when they arrived.

Eithne just grunted, staring out at the water. "Sounds like fun," he murmured not really paying attention.

"Nice to see you, too, dickhead," Heidi rolled her eyes. "And here I was actually being nice."

"Huh," Eithne turned his head to see Heidi really was there and he wasn't just hearing things. "Nice? All you wanted to do earlier was yell at my ass and stay as far away as possible," his eyes briefly shifted to Tom before moving back, "he told you about the trigger then, I take it?" he add rhetorically, already able to work it out for himself.

Raising an eyebrow, he scrutinized Heidi for a brief moment, before jerking his head and patting a space on the rock next to him where she could sit down. "You mind give us a few minutes, Irish?"

"Not at all," Tom replied impassively, vanishing into the ground.

Heidi shrugged, sitting down next to Eithne. "So how much memory do you have of the trigger? 'Cuz I just thought you'd become an asshole. I didn't even think of a trigger; I don't think anyone did." She wasn't sure if Eithne's trigger wasn't as strong as Tom's or what. She didn't really understand triggers.

"All of it," Eithne sighed, leaning back and propping himself up on his elbows, "I remember every last moment of my life under the triggers influence. From what I can gather Shima designed it suppress my personal desires and wants, stuck me on autopilot so to speak. For the most part I acted like I usually would, but it seems to have override my own personal opinions and wants in place, putting aside whatever I felt to assure that Nathan got his way. Wasn't fun...

"I can't really apologize, and even if I could I wouldn't bother: would mean jack-shit at this stage, really. But I'll tell you something, I really do regret that we never did get to make that little wagon - that was a nice idea, was gonna find a nice lake and teach Simon how to fish." He smiled faintly as he recalled some of the plans he'd had before Shima fucked everything up.

"I know things can never really go back to being the same, but I'd like it if we could at least try and be friends again, Heidi,"

"Well, I'm fine with being friends. Looks like Tombo's forgiven you, so I guess I don't have a reason to stay mad. Plus, I think at this point I need all the friends I can get," Heidi laughed, leaning back on the rock.

"The wagon would've been nice, though. I guess we missed the chance, since now you've got Amelia and Lucas, and I'm--" she caught herself, shaking her head and quickly trying to avert from that topic. "I was talking to Simon a while ago, and apparently he's never been to the ocean. So if we all don't get totally killed in this battle, I think it'd be nice if some of us took a trip there. You could bring Amelia along, if you wanted. Teach Simon how to fish, anyway, since I suck at fishing."

"You're preggers?" Eithne filled in casually, looking as though it was the most normal thing in the world to say. "Worked that out days ago, Heidi. You're giving off a second signature, so to speak. Everyone's got one that I can see, it's all the energy from their movement that builds up and they don't burn off, it acts like a unique marker as nearly everyone's signature is a little different - your's has changed slightly - like Amelia's did when she was pregnant. Put the rest together for myself, wasn't hard, really."

He let his words sink in as he mulled over what Heidi had said about the ocean. "That kid, he's honestly had it rough," he said, more to himself than Heidi. "I guess I could ask Amelia, though I'm kind of in the dog house with her right now: she's not happy about me forcing her off with the others when they leave - says as the only trained medic we have she should be to help treat the wounded and shit like that.

...And I like I said to Irish earlier, I honestly don't know how much of our relationship is real or just built on that fucking trigger. I'm honestly a little cared over what to do now, whether or not I try and just carry on like nothing happened or what. I know I need to talk to her, I just don't have a fucking clue what to say, though. I don't really think: 'Hey, Amelia, guess what? I was under a trigger four the past few years and they guy know is all a frabrication of some twisted psycho fucking with my head. By the way, what's for dinner?' doesn't really cut it."

Groaning, he flopped back onto the rock and threw his arms over his head. "Fuck my life..."
