Reaching Salvation: Post-Acer Part 2

"That's good, can't picture you getting sick," Heidi smiled, before stopping her hand in the middle of her pointless wave. "Anyway, g'night, if you do sleep, sleep well," she said, before walking off towards her and Simon's house.

"Night Heidi," Tom replied heading back to his hut.

Heidi walked into her house, looking around. "Simon, y'here?"

Nathan frowned as he watched the Telekinetic adult retreat. The other Flow user lay dead, his body torn apart by hundreds of needles of darkness that had pierced each individual cell in his body.

The black haired adult himself only had a cut along his jacket to show for the fight and he'd managed to avoid going Skeleton to beat them.

He turned away and re-summoned his horse. The Telekinetic had said "She warned us about you." Before he'd left.

At least now I know what to do...

"Y-yeah." Simon called out to Heidi.

Joey was happy when he entered the village, but noticed Erika was looking slightly down. "What's wrong?"

"Oh, nothing." Erika replied with a smile, holding onto Joey's hand tighter.

"...It's about what happened with your family, isn't it?" Joey said.

Over the years, it had gotten a lot easier to understand what his girlfriend was thinking, althouhg...it did work vice versa as well...

"...Sometimes, I think about what could've happened. If I stayed at that place." The woman said. "And almost every night I think about them. Wondering if they're sad, or angry, or h-happy... or what if they're already dead."

"...There's nothing stopping you from going off to look." Joey said.

Erika let out a humorless laugh. "I can think or dozens of things holding me back. I don't want to abandoned the village I helped create on a whim... I can't keep leaving people behind."

"Erika...you know these people." Joey said. "They are strong, and caring people, Erika, they would understand, especially Ade and Heidi."

"...but in the end, what truly matters is what you want." He continued. "No one is asking anything from you."

Heidi smiled at Simon, patting him on the head as she looked at Elena, who was still sleeping on the floor. "She can stay there for the night, Erika c'n come get her in th' morning..." she chuckled, before telling Simon a quick goodnight and passing out on her bed.

The morning came quickly, the sun certainly shining brighter than it had the day before.

Elena, having woken up in the middle of the night and gone home, was still asleep in her bed.

Heidi had woken up early, packing a travel bag and kicking it under her bed. She sat down, waiting for Simon to wake up so she could at least say goodbye.

Kira was curled up in her bed underneath her blanket. It certainly was warmer with Luke around and she wasn't going to complain about that.

Nathan frowned as he looked out from his now empty hideout.

He'd disbanded the Illuminati altogether and ordered them to stay together... now he watched as all 53 of them stood outside the village. Thirteen stood in front of the other forty.

Anyone in the village would be able to sense them, twelve of the fighters were full strength adults who had been Nathan's elite force. Each one of them was only a couple of rungs weaker than himself and Tom. The other forty one were mixes of teens and adults, and each one was powerful in there own right.

They seemed to be waiting. As per Nathan's orders.

When she heard Elena come in Erika moved from her bed to the younger girl's. "Can't sleep..."

Joey had gotten up early, and was looking over the files he took from the tower five years ago, for what was like the thousandth time. They held no information on the former contestants themselves, but they held a lot of information on Flow, but it was always one file that he always made a point to look through: Golems.

He sighed, before putting them away in a secure location, for he was the only one who knew about them, before getting dressed for the day.

...I wonder how everyone is going to react to the news...

Heidi's going to flip.

"I think I slept all day..." Elena mumbled sleepily in reply, snuggling against Erika. She was always warmer than her. Elena liked warm things.

All fifty three members of Nathan's Illuminati let their flow's become unhidden causing the village to experience what felt like gravity pushing down on it. The force of all fifty three combined dwarfing any single persons flow pressure.

If no one had noticed them before, then they would now.

Joey stopped. Shit... He thought, before rushing to the gate.

Adeline sighed, before heading to the gate. Really, now...

Erika cuddled closer to Elena as well, before feeling the pressure and letting out a low groan. "Dammit..."

Simon was still fast asleep in his bed.

Heidi shuddered, shaking Simon awake. "Hide somewhere," she ordered strictly, her spear forming in her hand as she bolted out the door and towards the village's gates (or lack thereof).

Kira sat up, looking towards the village and biting her lip. "L-Luke? There's...There's a-a lot of p-people out th-there... The village...might b-be under attack..." she said, trying to wake him up.

The Illuminati merely stood stock still awaiting for people to appear before them. Nathan's orders have been strict.

Percival just sighed as he took over, activating his Flow, which quickly covered the village, and was increasing more by the second.

They weren't the only ones, who's powers grew....

Simon nodded, dressing quickly and running to Elena's house while Erika exited, putting on her jacket. "Both of you either hide in here or go to the Church, you hear?"

The blackhaired boy nodded, before going inside to Elena's room.
