You, the student, have received an invitation to attend Aspen Academy, a prestigious high school facility located in the middle of nowhere. It is a privilege; that school is extremely selective and hand picks its students from all reaches of society. There might not seem to be any requirements by which the school has selected the students; they are so very diverse.

However, as you'd soon discover, everyone who's here is here for a common, if not immediately understood, reason. You are the magically Gifted. Many of the kids here either have magical powers, have the capacity to use magic, or are extremely sensitive to the world of magic. You are here to hone your skills and still keep up with the Mundanes your age.

------

Unbeknownst to most students, and even staff, is that a war is brewing between two factions who have opposed each other for as long as anyone can remember. Rumor has it that the school, which was created on treaty between those two factions, is training its pupils for battle...

Kyle organised through the forms with great speed, he had an hour's worth of work that he had taken on, and then he had to get to work on his homework while helping out in the library. While not as much as in previous years, he had a lot to do, and a lot he wanted to do.

Claire sat in the grounds with her back against a tree as she daydreamed about powers. Truth be told she never felt so useless than when she was here.

Isaac meanwhile was standing on top of the Great Wall of China looking around at the surrounding area.

With a sigh he teleported and appeared back at the school.

Katarina was sitting on the grounds, intently reading a book about palm reading. Perhaps she could figure out how to do this herself. After all, she found herself a quite flexible person, there had to be some sort of future telling that she had a talent for.

After finishing with the forms, Kyle left the faculty office, having been asked to help out, and began making his way to the library, carrying a large amount of books with his telepathy as he went through a book about seeing a few seconds into the future. He was having quite a hard time wrapping his mind around the basics of it...

Whack. That, was apparently strike three for Jayden who rubbed his cheek as girls walked away from him.

"Damn that sucked...Strike four maybe?"

Terri was up in a tree, humming to herself while eating pocky. She looked impatient, as if she was waiting for something to happen.

Kyle sweatdropped as he passed Jayden, wondering what he said this time, to get slapped.

"Heeyyyyyy," Jayden had moved beside Kyle and looped an arm around his neck. "How about after school, we shoot some hoops or something? Since the girls are all boring so far."
