Reaching Salvation: Post-Acer Part 1

"You won't kill me." Christina said, then noticed the dome coming toward them. "Um... what is that?"

"Wanna bet?" Heidi snickered, twirling her spear absentmindedly. "Chillax, I'll knock her out and kill her away from here," she told the figure.

"Is that... Adeline?" Christina asked.

The figure looked confused...before she realized that she was in the zone. She sighed as the zone began to shrink and then disappear, leaving the pocket watch and an unconscious Adeline behind.

Heidi sighed, moving towards Ade and carefully slipping the pocketwatch back in her pocket. She sat the unconscious girl up against a building, biting her lip.

"Is she okay?" Christina asked, slowly moving towards them.

"Ade's a trooper, she'll be fine," Heidi reassured her, standing back up.

Christina sighed in relief. "That's good." she said.

"Now go back to the church and heal up before you make your injury worse," Heidi commanded, turning towards Christina, spinning the spear a few times before stopping it, one of the points aimed at the girl. "Unless, of course, you'd rather die here. I'd be more than willing to help you along with that."

Nathan let out a roar of pain as he was thrown backwards threw a rock. He went through at such speeds that only his Instant Regeneration saved him from certain death. Around the remnants of the tower lay nine bodies all scattered around.

He'd killed all of them easily enough and now he was fighting against two others who were on par with him in terms of raw power. Well... they are when I'm only using Ice. He'd spent enough time surveying them with his constantly in use IA eyes to know the full extent of their powers and he was evenly matched.

One of them was using Telekinesis and was stronger than Nathan had ever been as a teenager. The guys telekinesis at adult level was near enough unbeatable without Nathan going darkness or some how sticking him under illusions.

The other one seemed to be able to push and pull objects towards him at will, so any attacks that went at the one using Telekinesis were pulled away from him and smashed to pieces by the taller one with the massive axe.

With a burst of speed, Nathan appeared behind the telekinesis adult and aimed to smash his foot into the back of the guys head.

Only to have his leg pulled away from him by some telekinetic force. He hit the ground and gnashed his teeth as the axe swung down.

It smashed straight through Nathan causing him to shatter into pieces of ice. He reappeared behind then with his fist clenched. I'm going to have to go darkness.

Christina sighed in defeat. "Alright." she said, and started back toward inside, back to the place where it was cold and lonely.

Heidi sighed, watching Christina go. Now that that was over with, she was bored again. It was getting too late to train, plus Joey seemed to be MIA. Just great...

Noticing that Tom had finally come back into the village, Heidi started walking towards him, momentarily wondering where Simon had been all day. Oh well, he was probably just playing with Elena or something.

"So what was all that about?" Tom asked, appearing on a spar f stone. "That girl I've never seen-well, not seen-seen, but you know, and Adeline?"

"The girl pisses me off. Like Joey and 'is 'maginary friend, but worse. And Ade...well...Ade's kind of...dead," Heidi sighed, starting to flip her pocket knife again. "Her Flow's keeping her alive, but it has drawbacks, like...that. She'll be fine."

"Good that she's fine, I guess. What was all that about friends I heard shouting about?" Tom asked, making a bench for himself.
