The Haunted House on the Hill

"We need to be able to protect ourselves, so we need to secure some weapons..." Joseph said. "And we know at least there is a place we can find them."

"Angel talked about a panel with guns behind it, didn't she?" Liz said.

"Yes, we just need to get to that, and we'll be able to defend ourselves better." Joseph explained.

"It could be dangerous getting down there." Liz warned.

"Better than waiting for another one of those things to show up..." Anthony muttered.

'I won't go alone, but I'm not taking everybody." Joseph said. "Two of you'll come with me to find it, while the rest of you stay here until we get back."

"I'll go." Liz volunteered. It was better than staying here with Angel.

"I'll go too." Anthony said.

Joseph nodded. "Ok, in the meantime, we have something to protect us while we search." He said, pulling out the gun Angel, keeping the barrel pointed down, with the safety on.

"Where'd you get that from?" Liz asked.

"Remember, Angel had this earlier." Joseph explained.

"Of course she did." Liz rolled her eyes.

Joseph sighed. "Anyways, let's get going." He said before turning to Denny, Leo, Quil, etc. "I can trust you guys to take care of Angel while we're gone, can't I?"

Bryant blinked back into attention and nodded to Joseph. "Y-yeah."

Joseph nodded, before heading towards the door, gesturing for the two to foow.

Liz followed him to the door quietly after hugging Denny.

Joseph led the two down to the next floor, entering one of the rooms there, making sure that the two stayed close.

Liz entered the room behind him. "Why are we in here?" She asked, confused. It was a library.

"We're looking Joseph said, before stopping when he noticed a clock on the shelf.

"I don't see anywhere to stash weapons..." Liz trailed off.

Joseph slowly picked up the clock, looking closely at it, before subconsciously letting it drop. The clock shattered upon impact with the floor.

Anthony couldn't help but flinch at the sound.

She whirled around from the books she was looking at when the sound of the clock breaking rang in her ears. "What the hell was that for?" Liz asked, confused.

Joseph was frozen in place, images passing through his head of when they went to the Annex.

He slowly relived watching ever death that happened there, the last thing he remembered, was leaving Angel behind, running from Ryuuzu, whose face he remembers so clearly, to find the clock.

"Joseph, are you alright?" Liz asked, concerned for the blank stare on his face.
