"Solanum" -Our Struggle

Once they were done, Joseph picked up the body of his dead friend, and tossed it over the edge.

Louis sighed and watched as Joseph tossed the body. His fist clenching. "I'm sorry... Mari." He said regretfully.

"NO! STOP! STOPPIT!" Mari screamed, when she heard the bats fall. When it was over, she stopped screaming, and when she heard Louis speak she slumped from Tuula's grip and started sobbing on the ground.

Haylee cursed. some of the zombies were being drawn away from the pack back towards the school by some idiots screaming on the roof. Normally that wouldn't be a problem, but they were being drawn into her path as she came around the next lap, making it even harder for her to continue doing her strategy. Her getting tired didn't help much either.

Bash!BASH!BAAASSH! As Joseph began to hit the fence with his bat.

He wanted to screm....He wanted to die.

Tuula shuddered at the screams, holding onto Mari tighter.

BASH! ...Joseph finished hitting it, before falling to his knees, crying. DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMMNNNNNNNNNNNIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Louis walked over to Mari and crouched down. His normally flirtatious face void of emotion as he placed a hand on her shoulder.

Mari looked up at Louis, her eyes streaming with tears. Then the girl looked back down and crawled towards what was left of her brother, forcing herself to not look at what used to be his head. She bowed her head and held onto Michael's hand, before removing the watch he wore.

Tuula stood up and backed away from Mari when Louis came over. She moved away from the group, sitting back onto the ground, hugging her knees to her chest and covering her head with her arms as she started to cry. That wasn't fair at all. The boy had saved her, and then she'd just stood by helplessly as he died.

After a minute, Joseph began to stand up. No more...

Lucas let out a sigh and could only stare at the scene. A single tear rolling from his eyes. He'd killed someone's brother...

Skylar was disappointed, not in the fact the boy had died. But in the fact he hadn't been the one to kill him...oh how much fun that would be. Instead, he just stood there without a care in the world.

Mari kneeled in front of the body for a couple of minutes, before rubbing her eyes, the watch in her free hand. "... You... you can throw it now. I'm... I'm ready."

No...It was Joseph who had killed him, he was the one who swung first, and he was already died, by the time Louis had swung...

Joseph turned, dropping his notebook as he began to head for the door.

Unfortunatly, Skylar was standing right at the door, leaning against it with his tonfas close.

"God damn herbivores, you lose one of you and you make it seem like there's nothing worth living for," he huffed, not moving from his spot at the door.

Madison covered her mouth, holding back something. She shook her head and quickly swallowed it back down (ew), taking deep breaths afterwards.

"St-Stop! They in come!" Tuula cried out towards Joseph, not wanting him to let the zombies up on the roof.

OOC: Seriously Book. I sincerely doubt one swing could destroy the brains or remove the head. No matte how strong you claim your character to be. They both did it.

"A-are you sure?" He asked Mari.

Before Joseph could reach the door, Michael's baseball bat appeared in his way. Mari had thrown it in front of him.

"...Give my brother's sacrifice some fucking dignity and don't open that goddamn door!"

The girl turned to Louis and gave a gerky nod.

Joseph just stood there looking at the doors, not even seeing Skylar, just staring at them, with the eyes of a man who had just killed his best friend...the eyes of someone who wanted to die.

Skylar noticed the eyes and grinned as he pulled out his tonfa. "Oh, those eyes. Those precious eyes...someone who wants to die?! I can help with that..."

Noticing the boy pull out a weapon, Tuula got up and stepped between Michael and Skylar. "Not g-good," she told Skylar, her voice wavering slightly.

"Jesus H. Christ people!" Haylee thought to herself, "Can't those fucknuggets just shut up for one minute?!" Her breath was getting haggard and her patience was running low. She'd reduced to sneaking by zombies quietly, seeing as they couldn't really see her. It had been easy to lose the pack. She simply stopped running and moved out of their way, taking off her shoes and throwing them in an opposite direction to cause a commotion elsewhere. Now she was down to a cat and mouse game of being quiet while moving around zombies.

But Joseph couldn't even hear Skylar, or anyone else for that matter, he just continued to stare at the door.

...The door that held all of Them out...and the only way for them to go...
