"Solanum" -Our Struggle

Whack. He finished off the one that had tried to get him from behind and followed after them, breathing rather heavily.

Tuula glanced worriedly at Skylar, though figured he was okay. After all, he seemed to be the scariest one of the group.

"What are you looking at?" Skylar asked catching the fact Tuula had glanced at him.

Tuula stammered a polite apology in Finnish, making sure to keep her gaze in front of her.

"You should try saying it in English, works wonders," Skylar said as he walked up to the girl and then past her, dropping a few words that she might reconise in her own language.

Tuula blinked, not quite sure what she had heard at first, before quickening to match Skylar's pace. She started rapid-fire asking him questions, such as how he spoke Finnish, why he spoke Finnish, if he'd lived in Finland, et cetera, eager to find some sort of companion, even if he was scary.

"Grandparents are Finnish," Skylar responded in Finnish. "I've been there, boring as all hell."

Tuula scowled, though she wasn't as afraid of Skylar now that she understood him. "America better...not," she retorted in broken English, frowning. The words didn't seem right. English grammar was so confusing.

"Everything is confusing while you're trying to learn it," Skylar switched back to English. "Remember while I was learning weapons at karate, I sacked myself so many times with the nunchucks. And that's, why I prefer the tonfa."

If he turned around, he expected to see several people staring at his back.

"I'm not that scary, once someone actually knows me," Skylar then added in in Finnish.

Tuula didn't understand half of what Skylar had said, except for tonfa. "Tonfa!" she cried out, pointing at his weapon like a small child.

Skylar sighed and rubbed the back of his head using the handle of one of his tonfas.

"Not right?" Tuula asked, frowning. She had been sure that those things were called tonfas...

"Yeah, they're Tonfas," Skylar said giving a nod of his head.

"Okay..." Tuula responded unsurely, frowning.

Skylar rolled his neck and spun a tonfa around, blood from the zombies splattering on the ground.

"Shall we keep going?"

Tuula flinched at the blood splatter, but nodded all the same.

Skylar glanced behind him at the group. He just waited for them to actually move.

The group was moving with them, Joseph running at the lead, as he knocked back some of them.

Skylar chuckled and moved, whacking some of them away. "I'll help you." he said under his breath.

Joseph just nodded once as they continued their way downwards, on their way to the parking lot.

Tuula made sure to follow closely behind Skylar, trying not to watch as the zombies were knocked away.

Skylar moved, making sure that Tuula was behind him, yet out of his range just incase he swung too wide.

Mari stuck to the sides, whacking any undead that got to clsoe to the center of the group.

Tuula flinched as she watched the undead being taken down, desperately wanting to wake up from this nightmare.

"You doing alright back there?" Skylar asked in Finnish to Tuula, since they had a small break between the waves.
