The Overlord's Court

"You sure?" Isaiah asked.

Kyruna nodded again, and smiled at the Overlord.

"Good." The Overlord said with a smile, before turning toward a bunch of dummies, that were on the other side of the area.

Kyruna watched in silence, trying to remain under control. What...is wrong with me...?

"...I'm still here you know." Lucrezia spoke up.

"O-oh! Sorry, your highness!" Kyruna said, before bowing to the girl. "Uhm...where were we...? Oh, right! Uhm..." Kyruna closed her eyes. "Imagine, being the lightning, traveling towards the intended target..."

"You fancy my brother." Lucrezia said point blank.

Kyruna blinked for a moment..."Eh...!? Y-your highness!"

"It's fine. I'm not judging..." Lucrezia shrugged.

"But..I do not...?" Kyruna said, although something was telling her that she was lying. ...?

"I'm just telling you now that he's an Overlord, and that if you do become one of his Consorts... your going to have to share." Lucrezia replied, before walking a little ways away and began to practice once more.

"But...I do not..." Kyruna repeated and then started to frown. But...what if she is right...? I said to myself...I would never...?

Lucrezia closed her eyes and continued to focus, trying to hit a target this time.

OOC: Going to bed, night.

Kyruna seemed to lose colour in her face, as she took a seat. Surely something is wrong with me...

OOC: Night.

Isaiah stared at the twenty dummies at the other side of the room. Mentally imagining the heat disappearing from the area around them. All twenty of the dummies were immediately frozen solid, as well as the floor and walls near them.

Magnus went to see what all the commotion was, noting that the Overlord had gotten much stronger since Magnus had mentored him. He listened with interest on what Kyruna said about lightning, since that wasn't something he had mastered.

Lucrezia's features tightened as her eyes screwed shut, concentrating on the lightning and energy she could feel coursing through her. Now aim... aim...

Kyruna watched Lucrezia, a bit worried because Lighting was generally interesting. The way it moved when unbound by magic, how it would strike a tall target...

Magnus wished her luck in his head, not wanting to break the focus. The way Kyruna had described lightning was vaguely similar to the way Magnus focused light, so he was wondering how similar they were when actually applied.

...Now! Lucrezia unleashed the energy, unfortunately right in front of her causing the girl to fall back from the power as it drilled into the ground where she once stood in front of.

"That was...better," Kyruna said as she rushed over to help her up.

Lucrezia was on the ground, appearing a bit dazed.

Magnus used the earth to help her up, clapping his hands once or twice.

"Regardless of the consequences, the output of energy there was quite impressive, Your Highness," he spoke up.

Lucrezia turned around to see Magnus, her cheeks turning a shade of pink in embarrasment. "Power is meaningless without direction in my humble opinion, Sir."

The girl turned to Kyruna. "You may continue to practice if you wish. I think I'll rest for a while."

"I think, I shall also take a rest," Kyruna said, still looking a little paler than she usually did.
