(Fantasy/Sci-Fi) Alien RP

Earth, the gold mine of the universe’s entertainment. Their comics, games, and TV shows (especially explicit content) are restricted goods. Naturally, there’s some illegal activity going around, from intergalactic smuggling to slave trade. And of course, the Planetary Defense Organization has to deal with it all.
Recently, a group of high students have been targeted by an alien gang called the Nightgaunts, their intentions unknown. The PDO has sent several agents to protect those students, as well as monitor alien activity in that area.
You are either an alien (who is visiting Earth for some reason or is part of the PDO) or a human who was dragged into all this mess. I’ll let you make up alien species for this one, but you have to get the species itself approved by me or Rosie before you make a character of that species.
Also keep in mind that most (actually, pretty much all) humans don’t know crap about alien species or the existence of “other worlds”. So, yeah.

Alien species:
Nyarlotepians--Shapeshifters. Most have super strength. Very good with technology. Don’t get along well with Cthugans.
Cthugans--Living fireballs. Mature Cthugans can “possess” a being, giving that person fire powers. Don’t get along well with Nyarlotepians.
Hasturians--Yellow fast bastards that usually hide themselves under yellow cloaks and golden masks. Young Hasturians have wind powers, but lose them as they grow older. They appear to have tentacles under those robes.
Aguians--Humanoid aliens that appear to be made out of water when on dry land, but appear “normal” when soaked. (Like Agua from Agua Bendita.) Blue Aguians can heal, but brown Aguians (they look like their water was polluted or something) cannot.
Nightgaunts--Giant faceless humanoid aliens with horns and bat wings.
"Elders"--???
