Apollo nodded, understanding.

He figured it was too soon for an Outlaw or Exploration mission, and that it would be better to work his way up to those kinds of things.

Venus nodded. "Yeah, my mother used to tell me the same things when I was a kid."

"Wait, outlaws?" Chara asked, blinking with surprise.

Arlix had accidentally fallen asleep, but woke suddenly when the alarm went off. She left the room, seeing a group's footprints, and followed them. She saw Teriid on the roof, following the group a little ways back-Arceus knows why-and yelled "Quit fooling around! You're gonna get in trouble, sneaking around on the roof like that. Get to the rest of the group." She ran ahead, seeing the group, and coming within earshot as Azel was explaining the missions. Terid flew up behind her, and then flew to the front of the group to listen better, sticking his tongue out at the Girafirig in order to get on her nerves. She ignored him, but decided she'd need to get the Heracross back somehow.

"What're you confused about?" Azel asked Chara, keeping track of the two at the back with one eye.

Chara shrugged. "What're we gonna do with outlaws?"

"Arrest them," Azel said simply. "But not kill them. They will most likely resist arrest, your aim is to knock them out or otherwise render them incapable f resisting arrest. But not kill them."

"And if they try to kill us?" Chara asked.

"Defend yourself," Azel asked, giving her that meant he wasn't sure what she didn't get.

Chara shrugged. "Well okay..."

"Don't worry, you'll have adults more than capable of handling the situation with you into you're capable of doing it without them. Most importantly, you'll have your team-mates," Azel told them, wishing he could say it without striking a blow to Dangan but not seeing another way.

Dangan heard the team mates comment and tensed his teeth clenching. He couldn't stop the growl of anger that came from his vocal chords.

Azel looked at Dangan with apologetic eyes, but he didn't want to make the Floatzel look like a charity case in front of everyone so he defrayed from calling out an apology. At least until the recruits were gone.

Dangan saw the look and turned his gaze away from the Dewott. Team mates were nothing but liabilities.

Chara blinked. "That's odd..."

"You ok?" Venus asked, slightly concerned by how angry he had looked for a second.

"I'm... fine." Dangan responded to Venus. He paused so as to control his tone.

"What is?" Azel asked Chara, leading the group across the room and into another passage down, light visible at the end of it.

Venus nodded, deciding to let it go, but the was an obvious look of concern on her face. "Ok..."

"Lame. I don't want to be on a team," Arashi muttered to himself.

Yuki just went onwards.

"Nothing," Chara shrugged, glancing at Arashi, "and what if you are attacked by a bird or psychic type?"

"Kick their asses." Arashi replied simply.

"Riiiiiiight," Chara rolled her eyes, "you poor poor thing. Such a sad sight to see someone so ignorant."

"Go bite your own tail off," Arashi growled.

"Were it so easy," Azel chuckled to Arashi, before they emerged out of the tunnel. It was a huge room, circular in shape and paved in stone. The wall was the same colour as the paving stone, and there was a small bunker dug into the wall beside the tunnel exit. There were only one or two people in the giant training room, and they were barely noticeable.

"This is our training room!" Azel called to his rookies.

Apollo looked around in awe, taking in the size of the room. This will be where I'm going to train from now on...
