Reaching Salvation: Post-Acer Part 1

They reached the empty area where everyone was.

"Excuse me if I'm offensive, I'm not in the best of moods with 'em," Luke replied, walking across to them. "Oi!"

Heidi didn't dare react, she was too busy dodging the bullets that the stone ogre thing kept spitting out. "Can it, hot head, I'm in the middle of something," she called back after a few moments.

Tom raised his hand, stopping the bullets. Stone was his domain, after all.

"What do you want?" he asked bluntly.

Simon nodded. "A-ah, right!" But he went into his room anyway, bringing out a blanket. "You don't want to catcha a cold."

Erika turned when she heard the yell. "What the...?"
A huge strike of lighting then hit the Ogre.

Luke shot a glare across the plain.

"There's a girl in the first that needs medical attention, unless you're all done with that now," he called, leaning on his sword.

A girl? ...Oh shit, not again... Erika jogged over to Luke and Kira. "Can you show us where she is?"

"She can," Luke said shortly.

Heidi muttered a grateful "thanks" to Tom, turning her partial attention to Luke. "Well, that explains why Kira's out again. Who's help do 'y need, can't leave your psycho teammate on his own around here."

Kira chewed her lip nervously, everyone was still as scary as they'd been yesterday. She inched closer to the forest, wringing her hands.

"Thanks, Simon..." Elena mumbled, wrapping the blanket around her shoulders and watching the fire blankly.

"I'm coming to." Joey said from beside Erika.

Erika looked at Kira. The forrest, eh?
The woman nodded, following Kira.

Joey quickly followed after her.

"You know first aid?" Luke remarked coolly to Joey, before turning his attention to everyone. "I was looking for Heidi, which I now realise was a poor call, so I thought I might ask if you knew anyone that might actually be useful, as you are the 'leaders' here."

"Yes, I do." Joey said.

"Learned it since the Shepard incident?" Luke asked genuinely, hobbling after as quickly as he could manage.

"Your welcome." Simon nodded, sitting nearby and letting the fire warm him as well.

Erika ignored both of them, focused on Kira.

"Someone had to..." He replied.

OOC: Might be gone soon.

"Haha, apparently I can't do shit anymore," Heidi grumbled bitterly, folding her arms across her chest.

Kira backed away a bit nervously when Erika and Joey came towards her. Flowers started growing around her feet again. She quickly walked through the forest, wishing they wouldn't come so close. Luke, she trusted, everyone else, not so much.

"Do...Do you still have dreams about the Storm, too?" Elena asked Simon hesitantly.

"Good," Luke replied to Joey, chuckling at Erika's ignoring tactics.

"You chased me away. Pretty obvious then," he replied to Heidi, struggling to keep up.

"...Sometimes." The black-haired teen replied, adding some more sticks to the fire.

"Well, it was either that, or kill you. Cutting you open was looking pretty fun right about then," Heidi retorted, scowling.

"I'm glad I'm not the only one then..." Elena sighed, just watching the fire flicker. She really missed Lacy.

"I'm not saying I don't appreciate it, cripple though I am, I'm just stating," Luke replied, grunting.

"Is she close?" Erika asked Kira as they continued to walk through the forest.

"Y-Yeah...sh-she's..." Kira mumbled, pointing ahead to the large tree that was her home.

Erika nodded, running over to the large tree, and sure enough, finding Christina lying on the ground. "Dammit..." The woman kneeled onto the ground, first checking the girl's pulse.
