Kidnapped

The last thing she remembered was walking down the street to the library to visit Mrs. Lake, the librarian. Next thing she knew, there was a pinprick in her neck, and everything went black. This is how Vanessa Launiere was kidnapped. She woke in a concrete room with a single lightbulb illuminating it. The light revealed the faces of four others, all asleep like she was, as well as five metal folding chairs, the kind you would see in the cafeteria of an elementary school for parents and teachers while the kids sat on the floor. She looked around the room some more, and saw a huge brass door holding them in. She felt unfamiliar clothes on her body, a slim white dress that stretched to midthigh, and white socks. Where am I? she thought.

Gabriel scowled as he paced the room, noticing Vanessa had woken up. "Hey, are you okay? Any idea how we got here? What's going on? Anythi-" he stopped, realizing he was rambling again. "Sorry, are you okay?"

"Ugh..." Luke said, as he slwoly got up. "Where am i...? He asked groggily, looking around at his surroundings.

Anna was curled up in a ball in the corner of the room, clenching her fist and then relaxing, like she was squeezing a stress ball.

Vanessa looked up at the boy pacing the room, and nodded. "I have no idea what's going on." she answered his other questions. "I don't know where we are, I just know I'm freezing." She curled into a ball, trying to keep warm.

"Pace with me then, it warms 'y up," Gabriel responded a frown plastered on his face. What was going on? He continued to pace the room, looking at their sleeping companions.

"Welcome to the club," he told Luke. "Tell us when you figure something out."

"I would think the breeze would make me colder." Vanessa said sarcastically as she shivered.

"Gets your blood moving," Gabriel responded shortly.

Luke slowly stood up. "What the Hell...I remember...something hitting my neck, then..." Luke paused, as that was where his memory ended.

"The blood is moving away from my head. I'm dizzy as fuck. It must be some form of effect of whatever it is they gave me that knocked me out." Vanessa said irritably, putting her head between her knees.

Anna frowned, listening to the conversation. She tried to recall how she got there, but all she could remember was that she was in the hospital before, waiting by herself for the doctor to do her monthly checkup.

Claudia lay on her side, her limp black hair spread out on the cold hard floor. She whimpered as if she were in a troubled sleep. She wouldn't open her eyes; she felt so dizzy that everything would start spinning when she opened them. Might be a concussion? Her head hurt. The last thing she remembered before blacking out was when the stranger had tugged roughly at her hair and threw her in the back of the van; she had been easy prey for the predator.
She heard people talking. T-there's others?
"Er...anyone know where we are?" Claudia didn't bother with raising her voice or opening her eyes, but she pushed herself up into a sitting position, supported by the wall. She moved her hands in tight circles. "This place...where?"

"Don't know where we are," Gabriel stated, starting to pace faster, running a hand through his hair. "Not good, not good..." he muttered to himself.

Claudia's heart starting beating faster. Don't know where we are? i should probably look, then. Slowly, she allowed her eyelids to uncover her sunken green eyes and saw that she was wearing a white dress that fit her as well as a potato sack and white socks. All the other four teens were dressed in white, as well. They were in a dimly lit concrete room with metal chairs in it. Yes, what's this place?
Claudia blinked, her eyes sore and dry, not to mention irritated by the light, however dim it was. She attempted to lighten the atmosphere, though she knew she'd fail at that. She asked the others in her soft rasp, "Who are you all?"

Gabriel looked at the newest person to have awakened, pausing in his pacing, before stating his name and continuing. He needed to think of a way out of here. How long had they been out? What day was it?

Anna buried her head in her arms, trying to calm herself down. Her heartbeat was racing and her entire body was shaking. No, no, this is bad... Calm down, everything will be okay...

Vanessa stood up, steadying herself by keeping her hand on the wall. After a few moments, she walked to the door, and banged hard on it with her fist. "Hey!" she screamed. "What's the big idea?! Let us out!"

"Quiet, you!" An angry voice called through the door.

Guards. she thought, getting angrier. "I won't be quiet until you decide to open this fucking door and let us out!"

"You don't want me to come in there." the voice said menacingly.

"Believe me, you don't want to come in here either!" Victoria shot back. "It won't be pleasant! I'll kill your parents, rip them apart and bake them into a pie, and then I'll force feed it to you while I sodomize you with your father's penis!" she screamed, banging on the door some more.

Gabriel laughed as Vanessa started freaking out, rather amused with her insults.

Luke smirked a little at the insults, before frowing a second later when he remembered their situation. "Looks like we're prisoners here..."

Eventually, realizing the door wouldn't open anytime soon, Vanessa groaned and gave a final bang on the door, before sinking back to the ground. "Prisoners? I thought we were guests at an amusement park." Vanessa said sarcastically. "Pointing out the obvious won't help anything." she snapped.

Anna shuddered when Vanessa banged on the door, bringing her knees to her chest. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath.

Luke sighed, this was not the time to get into an argument. Right now, he needed to be calm.

Gabriel moved over to Anna, crouching down next to her and patting her head. "It'll be okay," he grinned, trying to comfort the girl.

Vanessa rolled her eyes at the ginger's comment. "Alright, you might as well tell us all your names, since we're going to be stuck in here for a while."

Anna looked up at Gabriel, her eyes red and puffy from crying. "S-scared..."
