Kidnapped

"Luke...' The teen said, choosing to comply.

Gabriel smiled at Anna, wrapping an arm around her carefully, not wanting to scare her more. "Don't worry, you won't get hurt."

Hearing Vanessa, he responded with his name, trying his best to memorize those of the others.

"And you call me Vanessa. None of that Renesmee Twilight Nessie Loch Ness Monster bullshit, otherwise I'll castrate you." Vanessa huffed.

"...Anna," the girl said, squeezing her fist. I need a stress ball or something...

"Alright then. Glad to know names. Now we need to figure out what in the hell is going on." Vanessa said, sitting on the ground.

"We're trapped in a room. By the looks of it, some sort of prison work camp or lab rat type thing. Going with the second, I doubt we'd all be together if this was a work camp," Gabriel mused aloud.

"I'm Claudia...", she said a bit too slowly. The conversation seemed to be moving too quickly for her confused mind to process. She shivered, rubbing the goosebumps on her pale arms. Her armwarmers were missing; it felt weird without them shielding her limbs from the cold.

"Lab rat type thing?" Vanessa said, perking an eyebrow. "Maybe. Hence the uniform outfits. Or it could just be a flat out prison. Anyone do anything illegal recently?"

"If it was a prison, they wouldn't mix boys and girls," Gabriel pointed out.

"True. Jail rape. But then again, maybe they selected the few people who wouldn't aim for that shit." Vanessa shrugged.

Gabriel raised an eyebrow, looking over at Luke rather pointedly. It was a partial joke, just trying to lighten the atmosphere, but depending on how Luke reacted, he'd get worried.

Luke stared back in disgust. "Like hell!"

"Awfully defensive, aren't we, Luke?" Gabriel chuckled.

"Dude...not funny." Luke said.

"Alright! We get it! No jail rape!" Vanessa jumped in quickly.

"Thank you." Luke said.

"Ain't my fault Lukey-boy can't take a joke," Gabriel shrugged.

Vanessa went over to Gabriel and smacked the back of his head. "Antagonizing each other will get us nowhere."

"Aren't you antagonizing me by calling me out and hitting me? It's the same thing I'm doing to Luke over there, minus the hitting," Gabriel asked. "So he's a possible rapist, you're a hypocrite, what next?"

"And you're an asshole." Vanessa grinned. She turned around to face the rest of the room. "Anyone else like to share their hidden personality traits?" she announced, annoyed.

Gabriel simply laughed to himself for a bit, before looking at Anna and Claudia. "You two alright? Whatever they used to knock us out seemed to do a number on both of you," he stated, trying to smile comfortingly.

Anna frowned and took a deep breath before she spoke. "Um... I'm really sickly, so..."

"Do you just get sick easily? Or is it something else?" Gabriel asked.

"H-heart disease," Anna said. "I-I'll be fine, b-but I'm not good in stressful situations...."

Gabriel nodded, patting Anna's head. "Well don't worry, then. I won't let them freak you out too much," he smiled.
