Kidnapped

"Seems like we had the wrong idea on who exactly is the jail rapist here." Vanessa rolled her eyes and folded her arms, her gaze fixed on Gabriel.

Gabriel shrugged indifferently. "Believe what you want," he stated.

Luke sighed. "Here we go again..." He muttered.

Vanessa went over to the door and started to bang on it again. "Hey, you son of a bitch! Let us out right now before I kick your ass!" she screamed outside.

Anna shuddered and buried her head in her arms. She hated loud noises. But then again, she hated a lot of things.

Gabriel sighed, placing his hands over Anna's ears. She seemed so scared, all this shouting wasn't going to make anything better.

Vanessa's banging finally paid off, but not necessarily in the way she wanted it. A large, muscular man opened the door and grabbed Vanessa by her brown hair, and dragged her close to him. "I suggest you behave, lassie." he said in a think Irish accent. "You don't want me to get The Professor over here until he's ready for you. He doesn't treat those who misbehave kindly. Keep quiet." He slapped Vanessa, sending her to the ground, and slammed the door shut.

Gabriel flinched at the slamming door. "...You okay?" he asked Vanessa quietly.

Luke rushed over to Vanessa, in an attempt to help her, before turning to the door, with a look of rage on his face.

Vanessa was shaking. Whether out of fear or anger, she didn't know. Her head hurt, she could feel the red mark in the shape of a hand forming on her face. "The Professor, eh?" she said, not even attempting to answer a question of whether or not she was alright, because she wasn't. She needed to get out of here, or else she's going to get killed.

Claudia winced ever time there was a loud noise, especially when Vanessa was slapped. Noises...oh, how disorienting they were. She shuddered, or rather, shivered. The cold was annoying her, making her shiver, and shivering was making her stomach hurt.
on another hand, the others didn't look like they would hurt her. Most likely because they were all in the same boat.

Gabriel frowned when he noticed Claudia shivering. "Hey, c'mere. It's alright, we'll have a big penguin huddle so we'll all be warm," he said, smiling at the girl, before looking at Anna. "That's okay with you, right?"

"Y-yeah," Anna said, slowly nodding.

Claudia silently nodded her agreement as well.

Gabriel pulled the two younger girls closer together, sticking close to make sure to share some of his own body heat.

Vanessa watched Gabriel with the younger girls, frowning. They were in a big kid situation, shouldn't they act like big kids? They didn't need to be babied. When I was their age I had a thicker skin. she thought in annoyance.
