"Any two items, and two captchalogue cards" J4 explained. "This is a process, where you can make a combination of two items, for example, my golden guns." J3 said, pulling out a pair of golden guns.

Vayn let out a low whistle. "So...Any two?" he said, thinking of all the devious combinations he could possible make. "So like...My knives, and..." he trailed off, looking around, snatching up the first thing he saw, which happened to be the sapphire-colored frog. "This?"

"Yep." J4 said. "...But I don't know what they would make."

Vayn shrugged. "Why not?" he said, captchalouging his knives and the frog, then handing them to Joey. "Show me how."

"The results are random, until you make them." J4 explained, before sighing.

"...Follow me."

Vayn followed Joey, slightly nervous to what he was going to create. Hopefully it wouldn't be something lame...
"So, um...Do I get to see what it makes before I make it?" he asked.



Sapphire Rampuribbit

50,000 Build Grist, 200,000 Sapphire, 10,000 Quartz and 1,000,000 ?

Vayn stared at it for a second. "I'm pretty sure I don't have enough grist." he said. The price was absolutely astronomical.

"Yep..." J4 said, sweatdropping. "...But at least we know it'd be a powerful weapon."

"Let's...uh, try something else." he said, taking the frog out and placing it back in it's little box. "So, frogs make some badass weapons, I guess." he said, and picked up a sharpening stone. He alchemized it with his knives, creating two, eternally sharp stone knives, for a much better price, of 30 grist.
"Do I have enough to make it?" he asked J4, still pretty much unknowing of most of the game mechanics.

"Probably." J4 said. "Amber is your Server, so she would know, but since it's that cheap, just kill a couple Imps first, and you should be good.

"Ah, okay. I'll figure out from her then." he said, walking over to the computer.
xenophobicAtrophy [XA] began pestering nobleVagabond [NV]
XA: Hey Amber, how much grist do I have?

The dagger penetrated the Ogre's fist, causing it to roars, as it pulled it out.

He then charged right after Jane.

XA: Okay. Will do.

Vayn picked up his knives and started juggling them. He headed down the stairs. He easily dispatched a few imps with a flick of his wrist. He killed a couple more and picked up the grist, then moved outside, where he was instantly greeted by an ogre staring him down.
"Bring it." he said, cracking his neck. The ogre was dark purple in color, with one big, bladed wing, and several swords through his chest, which the creature started yanking out. The ogre flung one sword at Vayn, who easily rolled aside, and then tossed both knives at the thing's face. He hit each eye, and it roared in pain. Vayn smiled, then ran and jumped up it's face, yanking the knives out and doing a scissor cut across it's throat. It hit the ground hard. He picked up the rest of the grist, and headed back inside to prototype some stuff, and pester Amber some more.


XA: There. I picked up some weird grist besides just the normal build grist, any idea what it actually is?


((He picked up whatever his equivalent to shale is, or whatever it is that ogres drop.))

NV: I think that's shale, it's different... but now you have enough grist to upgrade.

Amber thought she heard a noise from upstairs. That's odd.

NV: Be back in a sec, heard something.

Vayn prototyped his knives, making the eternal-sharp stoneblades. He promptly allocated them to his strife folder. He cracked his neck and juggled them, pulling out his original knives as well. He turned back in his chair and waited either for more enemies or Amber to get back. Whatever came first.

"So..." J4 said, walking over. "Now we just need to get Jane, to get Amber in the game.

Vayn nodded. "How do you plan on doing that?" he asked J4. "I don't even know what powers I might have or how I can even use them."

"Time-Shenanigans." J4 said nonchantly.

"Oh lord." Vayn said, facepalming. "That's a great and horrible idea at the same time." he said. "Let's go with-" he stopped suddenly, recalling a dream.
"On second thought, let's not. Not yet." he said. He remembered seeing this in a cloud on the golden city he dreamed in. The clouds always told him things, and he was sometimes able to find when they would happen in real life.
He remembered watching this happen, and it eventually ending in somebody's death...he couldn't remember who's, though...

Amber jogged up her stairs two by two. The noise had coem from her room. The girl stood behind the closed doorway, pressing her ear against the door, she heard rustling.

Taking out her hammer from the Sylladex she was prepared for any burglar or- guessing by the way her life was going- thing that headed her way.

With a quick movement the door swung open and The girl charged in... only to find a cat by the window sill.

"...You've got to be kidding me." She face palmed while the cat meowed, jumping from its perch to rubs agaisnt her legs, purring. "Hey, you. It's impolite to scare people like that."

The cat continued to purr, before for soem reason, it stopped. Hairs on the back of its neck stood up, and it gave a loud his towards the girl's bedroom door. Amber wanted to back a way, but where? She was trapped...

A small creature poked its head to look at her and gave her a toothy smile.

Joey blasted another Ogre away, his newly alchemized Dual-Gold Guns smoking. "So...Joeysprie...you're me, from a doomed timeline?" He asked, turning to his sprite.

"Correct, now get back to work with building Jane's house up." The orange sprite replied.

"I can't, we're out of build grist, and she's completely disappeared."

"Then use her furniture to kill the imps."

Jane began to panic as the ogre charged after her. She had no idea what to do now but run. She pulled out her cell phone as she ran, looking to see if there was any form of reception. Two bars. Shocking. She dialed Joey. "Come on, come on, pick up...." she growled as she kept running.

Joey paused, pulling out his phone. "Jane, where are you, you're not at your house anymore." He said.

"You want to know what I'm doing?! I'm running from a fucking ogre and I have no idea what to do!!!!" she screamed into the phone.

"Oh shit, you too?" Joey asked. "Ok I'll see what I can d-"

Boom! The Ogre's head exploded, as J2 walked out from the foliage, guns in hand. "There you are!"
