Pokemon Random Version

Rumble rumble. The moving van rumbled along, it's seven passengers cramped in the back along with whatever boxes where in there. The last time the crew had been let out had been the boat ride from Dewford nearly seven hours ago. Why were there seven teenagers in the back of this moving truck? Were they kidnapped? Were they stowaways? Nope, they were the newest trainers hired by Professor Birch. Because the Professor didn't have the money to bring the trainers to the town himself, he compromised with the shipping company to allow them to travel in the back of the truck and act as body guards for the trip, seeing as Team Magma and Aqua had been ambushing shipping trucks lately. All the trainers were notified of this upon their arrival by boat in Slateport City and reluctantly agreed. Luckily a god portion of their ride had been in the cargo hold of a ship to and from Dewford town. Now they were on a slow, bumpy ride through Oldale town, making their way slowly to Littleroot in the back of a humid, hot truck.

Hayley was sprawled out on some boxes, somehow managing to sleep through the trip. She was wearing her sunglasses despite the dim lighting in the van, and was using her cape as a blanket, despite it barely covering her, nor looking that warm.

Alice glanced around the truck for the fifth time in the past two minutes, tugging her jeans up a little bit in boredom.

Aliya, who was too busy complaining for the majority of the trip, was taking a nap in the corner, separated from the others thanks to the shifting boxes.

Cameron sighed from where he was sitting, using a deck of cards he had, to play a game of solitaire.

When Alice was done taking a head count, she blinked. Wait...she had counted seven before...now there was eight? She shook her head. The humidity must've been getting to her.

Scott reclined in the back of the truck, listening to music through his headphones and staring idly up at the roof.

Arya was leaning against the side of the truck, staring into space with a dazed expression.

Ryan was leaning against one of the walls of the truck with his eyes closed and his arms folded.

This would be... fun...

After another boring half an hour the truck finally rumbled to a halt, jolting everyone in the truck.

Cameron quickly scooped up his cards, putting them away.

Aliya woke up and hit her head on the edge of a box. She cursed and tried to pull herself up.

Arya grabbed onto the nearest box to prevent herself from sailing forward, making her head rattle a little. ...Cheap-skate professor...

Noir fell forwards from the sudden stop. "Ow...that bloody hurt! GOD DAMMIT!"

Outside voices could be heard and Pokeballs releasing Pokemon as the back doors of the truck we opened, releasing bright daylight into the stuffy back of the truck.

"Ugh..." Cameron said, standing up, and stretching.

Ryan raised an eyebrow at everyone's disorientation and quickly leapt down to the ground below, a cigarette finding its way to his lips that was quickly lit, the fresh taste of nicotine working wonders on Ryan who hadn't been able to smoke for the whole journey.

"Aren't you a bit young?" Scott asked jokingly, taking off his headphones and picking up the joint he'd dropped.

"What your smoking isn't anymore legal than what I'm doing." Ryan quipped back offering his lighter to his fellow teen.

"Cheers man," Scott replied with a cheeky smile, taking the offered fire.

Ryan gave a nod and merely exhaled smoke, taking a look around the country like area. He was a city boy at heart and he frowned. "Ryan Crass," he introduced as he manoeuvred some of his hair out of his eyes.

"Scott Carter," the teen replied, his voice pinched after taking a drag of the joint. "You ain't lookin' too happy with your surroundings."

"Da hell are we?" Noir asked, rubbing her head.

"Littleroot, if I ain't wrong," Scott called amicably, taking a glance around him at his surroundings.

"City boy born and bred." Ryan explained. "I ain't one of those hippies who goes swinging on vines." He added with a shrug as he exhaled more smoke.
