Pokemon Random Version

Noir was just standing at the front enterance to Littleroot. Having not moved from that spot.

Alice glanced at Noir, slightly curious as to why the girl was just standing around. Certainly they had an adventure to go on, glory to achieve, etc etc. "Hey Noir!" Alice called the the teen, "You need some traveling buds?"

"Huh? Oh...uhm..." Noir started to fidget. "I...suppose so..."

Awesome, you're welcome to join us if you like," Alic said, turning to Arya and Hayley, "You don't mind, right?"

"Wouldn't mind getting a Salamence I guess... Milotic and or Gyarados would be good too." Ryan agreed as he pulled out his own cigarettes and lit one. "Nothing really decent around this route though I suppose."

"Not for a few routes, I don't think," Scott mused, putting his free hand in the pocket of his hoodie. "At least I don't have to catch anything in a hurry for the first gym. I have full confidence in Deck for that."

"Uhm...if...you wouldn't mind," Noir said.

"I certainly don't mind," Alice shrugged, leaning against her Beldum.

"Only one Pokémon could still get you in shit though." Ryan noted dully.

"So what's your master plan, eh Ryan?" Scott asked mockingly, Deck scurrying back over to hop on his shoulder. His fellow teen never seemed to lack for confidence, so Scott thought he'd see if there was any action behind the facade.

"The first gym leader is a girl right?" Ryan responded rhetorically. "My impressionable charm will leave her completely love struck and brain dead. From there Totodile will easily defeat any and all of her Rock-types."

"Foolproof," Scott replied with a chuckle, walking along in silence for a while, finishing his cigarette. "So what you think's gonna be shit to look out for on the road? Like whaddyou think we should keep a special eye out for?"

Ryan grinned as they continued. He too finished his cigarette before shrugging at his companion. "Not really sure," he commented. "I'm wondering if they've got their own version of Team Rocket or something."

"Yeah, I heard about 'em. Team Magma and Team Aqua. Were a little bit of a talking point back where I came from for a while. Probably cos' where I came from was infested with gangsters, people were wondering about competition," Scott mused, wondering whether they'd really take an interest in two wandering teenagers.

"Aqua and Magma... hmm." Ryan mused as they traipsed through the route. They seemed to have lost the other groups by now, which was a downer for Ryan he hadn't made his choice of which girl he'd try it on with yet. "Pretty retarded names if you ask me."

"Their goals are weird too," Scott replied, with another chuckle. He was beginning to wonder if they should have waited for the other group.

"Let me guess... it's something to do with nature?" Ryan questioned as they entered they walked across more of the plain looking surroundings. "Sea level and land mass?"

"Team Aqua want to bring more water to the world, Team Magma want to bring more land to the world," Scott explained, over-simplifying it. "Word back in Kanto was that a lot of Hoenn was divided over them."

"Hmm... more water can't be that bad." Ryan mused. He was happy to voice his opinion, it wasn't like he was declaring an allegiance to the team. "I mean... there's more than enough land."

"Way I see it, more water will make the places too dry to inhabit habitable, thereby serving the same purpose as having more land," Scott agreed, having thought about this before that discussion.

"So really they're all a load of political twats." Ryan summarised. He took in a few wild Pokémon who weren't troubling them and glanced behind him in the direction they had walked from.

"Wonder what happened to that group of girls?" He commented.

"Pretty much. I know which I'd side with should push come to shove, but really as it is I'm all good," Scott replied, Deck mostly doing his own thing fighting the wild Pokemon alongside him.

"And of that, I have no clue. Must've lost 'em, or maybe they took a different route."

Ryan had released Totodile as well who was fighting surprisingly well with Deck as they took on the wild Pokémon. Becoming stronger with every fight. Ryan didn't really pay him much heed, if he saw the Pokémon take too strong a hit he'd throw a potion their way.

"It's all the same route... after Totodile and Deck finish the Pokémon off we could set up here for lunch and wait for the girls?" Ryan suggested.

He hadn't even noticed that they'd been walking for half a day already. Time seemed to fly.

"W-well...should we get going...?" Noir asked the group.
