Dex tapped Jack on the shoulder with her umbrella, a scowl on her face as she adjusted her beige uniform with her free hand. "Stealing is illegal you know. Especially when it belongs to the Dictator."

Her hand just pass right through the young man, who immediately turned around at the sound of her voice. What...?! I get that she can sense the ruby, but how can she see me?!

"C'mon, appear, dammit," Dexter stated, swinging her umbrella at Jack again. Someone had to be holding the ruby, it wouldn't just float in midair.

Jack jumped back, deciding to reappear. "...Who are you?" He asked, raising his hands, his voice being obscured by the mask.

"Dexter," said woman grinned eerily, her red eyes gleaming. "And who would you happen to be?"

"Answering that would just bring me trouble." Jack responded to the woman. "I take it you're here for the ruby?"

"We have big plans for that, and I can't risk you screwing things up," Dexter sighed, opening her umbrella.

"Oh really now?" Jack asked, getting in a fighting position. "And what plans are those?"

"C'mon, you really think I'd tell you?" Dexter rolled her eyes, her umbrella starting to hum as it radiated energy.

"Let me guess, your gonna use it to help develope more weapons for the Dictator." Jack said, getting ready to act. "If so, then we have nothing further to talk about."

"So simple-minded, like everyone else in this country," Dexter sighed. "Either way, I suppose you're not going to just hand it over, so I'm going to have to kill you..."

"You're really condescending , you know that?" Jack said, unfazed by what she said. "I have no plans on dieing tonight."

A dark pulse radiated from the umbrella, something changing in Dexter's eyes. "I'd like to introduce you to my very good friend, Bee. He'll help me kill you~"
