The time has come for me to accept fresh meat on board my craft whose name I shall leave out for some...well-defined reasons. I need young, capable people who can find their way about an airship with ease. Cannon and generator knowledge will bolster your chances of being chosen. Also, control over magic and special abilities will give you an advantage over everyone else. I need strong folks! There's a chance you'll be fighting alongside little ol' me, and I don't need dumbasses bringing down my game, got it? Depending on how many people show, you could be guaranteed a spot or you could be sent packing, so don't get your hopes up. Those of the faint of heart need not show up; you'd be wasting your time, so take a hike. You're about to get yourself wrapped up in something....well, I'll let that be a surprise. I'll just say, with no provocation or reason and for the general welfare of all people, make sure you have your last wills and testaments drawn up, heh heh.

Quest Details: The notorious sky pirate, Nika Makari, is looking for more crew members to work aboard her airship, Dimension's Gate. Essentially, she needs capable fighters to help her out in raids and the like, not to mention when traveling through the wilderness (depending on if there are monsters about or not.) She means for engineering and cannon knowledge to be bonuses, but she's really looking at how well a character can handle being a sky pirate and just how strong they are in general...or not strength really. More like battle prowess. Also, people with experience with dimension magic are going to be valued above all else because she's working on perfecting the dimensional enchantment placed on her ship which she currently possesses hardly any control over since it's only a prototype.

What's to be expected from the meeting is a simple Q&A and just a general evaluation of one's abilities. Characters should arrive at the setting as stealthily as possible. The place of meeting was chosen to be out of the way of the general public. Upon arrival, they had best be prepared to display their abilities. Since Nika is a wanted criminal, there's not going to be a high chance of your character just changing their minds and walking out of there alive. As such, your character should be firm in their decision to try this out. The message has been displayed only in the city of Estrella and discreetly at that; it's not like it's hanging everywhere. Nika's been at this a while; she knows what she's doing, and as such is trying to avoid detection by the authorities. That's why she uses an alias in signing the message and also asks to be referred to as such. Anyway, I guess that's about it.

Guidelines: All basic role playing rules apply, along with the rules of the forum. My expectations are slim for this particular quest, so let's make this a Blossoming-level quest. A couple of paragraphs per post would be nice. More would be nicer. If less, that's okay, but make sure you've taken everything into consideration first, as in you need to have a good reason not to post more.

This is a short-term quest. The Sky Pirate Quest Line will contain a whole line of quests. So be prepared. Participation will be mandatory for crew members, while other may get involved later on for temporary intervals.
