The Overlord's Court

Kyruna yawned again, as she roamed the castle. Not really sure where she was going.

Book the Hero wrote:"Looking for something, Stella?" A voice said from near the door of the room, as the Overlord pproached her.

Stella froze when she heard the voice of the Overlord, and swore under her breath. She looked up, and shut the drawer with her hip before smiling sweetly. "Oh, well actually I was. I was looking for some candles, and I didn't want to bother the maid, so I thought I'd come here to see if you had an extra." she lied smoothly.

"Oh really now..." The Overlord said, stepping up close to the princees, giving her a piercing gaze. "Real interesting you would check my desk for them..."

"Overlord?" Zerez opened the door to the throne room. He wasn't in there...but still, he shoved the Bishop into there and shut the doors. "We're waiting in here."

"I mean, I wasn't sure where you'd keep them, so I picked the first drawer I saw and started looking there. I've been here about three minutes or so." she lied again. His stare made her nervous.

"...Why don't you just cut the act, Stella?" The Overlord said with a smile, his stare seeming to pierce straight through her lie. "We both know you're not really like this."

"Act? What act? I don't know what you're talking about." Stella rolled her eyes like this was the silliest accusation in the world.

"The whole ditzy girl act you've been putting up since you got here." The Overlord said, taking a step closer to her, now looking down upon her only an inch away. "We both know you weren't here to get some candles...so why not just tell the truth already?"

"You won't hurt me if I do, will you?" Stella said, finally breaking now that he was so close to her. She was scared now, and her voice was quivering slightly.

"Of course not." The Overlord said, looking down straight into her eyes. "I had no intention on anything of the sort."

"I told you, this is all a mistake! She... she's got the devil inside her that one!" The Bishop exclaimed to Zerez.

"And that would be why you ripped her dress?" Zerez asked, pointing his sword underneath the bishop's chin. "Do you happen to have a problem with women?"

"Only certain kinds." The Bishop scowled.

"Oh really now. Why do you not tell me, while we have time." Zerez stabbed his sword down into the Bishop's shoulder, missing it but pinning his clothing down onto the ground.

"And for each one I have a problem with, I'll add a new cut onto the one on your leg."

Bishop Rothbart screamed, but after a few moments of mentally checking that there was only pain in his leg he started to speak. "That girl for the past few weeks has... sought me out."

"And am I to expect that is your reason for attempted rape?" Zerez asked as he drew his other sword. Checking it's sharpness against the light. "Dear Bishop. Cut the bullshit, before I cut it out for you."

"She presented herself to me! I may be a man of God but I'm still a man! And... I fell to temptation." The Bishop slumped his arms. "I've spoken my peace."

Zerez slashed at the other leg.

"Good sir, you have just lied."

The Bishop screamed and fell, unable to get back up.

"My dear Bishop." Zerez wiped his sword on the bishop's robes. "Do you honestly believe, for a moment, that I would even consider that the Princess would have made such advances. Considering you had ripped her dress, and she had screamed?"

"People like you, disgust me. Why do you not tell me the truth, and maybe I will call for my sister to heal you." Zerez kicked him. "And should you repeat this lie, I will not be responsible for whatever happens to a former bishop."

OOC: Can we say Zerez is quite pissed off by this?

OOC: Yup.

"I didn't..." The Bishop kept repeating.

"Allow me to tell you a story, Bishop," Zerez said, bringing his blade to the Bishop's throat. "Twenty three years ago, while my mother was sixteen. She was raped. I was concieved then. Now then, do you understand why I am pissed off, dear Bishop?"

"Confess to your sins, confess to being a liar. Or shall I call for the princess to give her statement."

"But, I do wonder whose opinion is worth more, dear Bishop. A noble's, or a Heir."

The Bishop listened to all this, his body shaking... before collapsing into tears and sobs. "I don't want to die..."

"Maybe you should have considered that, before attempting rape." Zerez stated, sitting back from the bishop, He was sure that he couldn't escape. He opened the door, and asked one of the guards if they could fetch the Princess. He did want to have a few words before her brother had come.

Lucrezia was in her room reading when one of the guards was let in by Mary. He bowed deeply. "Milady. Your presence is requested in the throne room."

The blonde nodded and got to her feet. "I'll go at once."
