Ascendency: a Pokémon Mystery Dungeon RP

Ukashka nodded, running ahead of the group. She felt very comfortable in her element.

OOC: It was too high up for her to read... ^^;

OoC: Alright, I'll just roll with it.

"Alright, so why does it say?" Azel asked, cracking an eye open.

"I can't read it," Chara deadpanned, "I'm too short."

Venus smiled, before turning to Kell. "You ready?"

"Born ready," Kell replied with a confident smile. "Can't wait!"

"You literally just said, 'I can see what that one says'," Azel replied tiredly, taking it down off the board with a slight jump to improve his reach. He handed it to Chara.

OOC: Oh. That was a typo. I meant can't. Sorry. @_@

Chara glanced over it. "Seems like fun."

"Share with the class," Azel gestured for her to read aloud.

OoC: Don't worry about it.

"Good." Venus said, before they headed on in.

"U-um...Little desert...uhm..." Chara mumbled.

Kell wished he was taller so he could see over Venus' shoulder, bursting to see what his first dungeon looked like.

"And the mission?" Azel asked, not looking back at them from his position, inspecting the board.

Venus moved out of the way, so Kell could move up ahead.

The tunnel looked like your standard tunnel, only a lot hotter, and steam occasionally came out from some rocks.

"U-um...a Nuzleaf is looking for a certain type of item called a Stick...it wants us to find one...it says they tend to appear near the second floor..." Chara blinked.

Ukashka laughed, playing in the steam. This was a fun place, maybe she could get Azel to take her here.

"Yeah, sounds about right," Azel nodded, having memorised it with a glance when he passed it to Chara. "That sounds good to me."

"Man, it's like being back on the desert," Kell announced, shaking.

"Careful Ukashka, there are still wild pokemon, who will attack you on sight, here." Venus called out the Vulpix, before turning to Kell, sweating slightly. "Well, I'm glad you like it."

"Good thing it's short," Charm mumbled, "don't wanna start a brush fire or get my tail put out by wind."

"Anything short of gale-force won't put out your tail," Azel replied. "Providing you're not half-dead at the time already."

Ukashka rolled her eyes at Venus, before promptly getting knocked back by an Ember. It wasn't enough to really hurt, just knock the air out of her.

OOC: I think I'll take control of the pokemon in this dungeon...

"Ukashka!" Venus called rushing over, as a Slugma came into view.

Kell charged forward with a Headbutt, as he was absolutely bursting with energy. He might as well set an example with the offending Fire-type.

Ukashka hissed at Venus, easily brushing off the attack. "I'm fine." She glanced over at Kell. He seemed to have things in control. She would step in if he needed her to.

The Slugma was knocked back by the Headbutt, Flinching.

"I told you to be careful." Venus said, obviously concerned.

"What about a sandstorm?" Chara asked.

OOC: Wat. Wasn't it just a Slugma?

Ukashka hissed at Venus, not making any attempt to repeat herself.
