Reaching Salvation: Post-Acer Part 11

Kira gently touched Luke's leg, looking up at him. "Where does it hurt?"

"All over," Luke admitted reluctantly.

"Alright," Kira murmured, a plant with oily leaves growing next to her. "This is g-going to numb it a bit, so it doesn't hurt. Is that okay?" she asked.

Nathan looked over at Eric, the flow signature, the blood running through his body. "You're related to her..." It wasn't a question, in fact it was more of a statement. Then he picked up on what Eric had said.

"You said... her mind." He began to look around quickly before coming to a decision. "I can fix her... or try to at the very very least."

His fist clenched as he looked at Joey and Elena. "However there are a couple conditions. First of all, Joey doesn't come anywhere near the house and Elena gets taken to Simon or someone else as I can't promise that what will happen here will be pleasant. You however may stay in the next room."

Nathan took a breath to think things over. "Second, someone needs to tell Tom that he needs to be ready to be here within seconds. Other than him I don't want to be disturbed."

Using IA, Nathan ran his eyes up and down Erika's prone form and let out a sigh.

"Yeah, it's great," Luke replied with a brief smile.

"Yes," Neo answered.

"...My doors don't lock," Heidi told Neo after a while. The door would open, he could let himself in.

Kira took the leaves, rubbing the oil onto Luke's deformed leg. Once she was done, she stood back up, trying to shake the feeling back into her fingers. "There you go."

"Thanks," Luke replied with a brief grin. Much better.

Neo opened the door and looked at Heidi. "You feeling alright there...?"

"No," Heidi answered, patting Simon on the back before curling up under the covers embarrassedly. "I feel like shit."

Kira smiled slightly at Luke. "It's the least I can do," she responded, before continuing thoughtfully. "When you go see Nathan, maybe I'll go into the village to get some supplies..."

"Alright, it's time for Dr. Neo to step in," Neo said, walking over to Heidi. "For how long?"

"Yesterday. It's just a stomach bug. Don't need a doctor," Heidi muttered.

Kira frowned slightly, wondering how long the rain was going to last.

"I'll go make some tea." Neo said.

Heidi grunted in acknowledgement, making no motion to help.

"Yeah, that sounds like a good idea," Luke nodded. As much as rain was dangerous to him, he did like the sound of it hitting off the roof.

Neo went over to start the tea of awesomeness and glory.All while having rather calming music playing.
