Reaching Salvation: Post-Acer Part 12

"So... is it you... or not?" Nathan wondered. His confusion was still extremely evident as he got closer to the three girls. As if all his problems weren't enough the girl who he thought he might be falling for now had a doppelgänger.

"M-mirror doesn't have a Flow," Melaney explained quietly, glancing at the floor timidly.

"I'm Sage," The real Sage raised her hand. Of course...Mirror tried to copy but since Melaney was holding onto her hand, she couldn't.

"And I'm Mirrorrrrrrr!~"

Kira got up and poked her head out of the treehouse, nearly falling in surprise. "Luke!" she exclaimed, jumping out of the treehouse, before a vine caught her and set her down. With her feet on solid ground, she tackled him in a hug. "You're better!"

"Thank you... Mealeny." Nathan said not quite sure why the girl was trembling so much. Turning to the real Sage he raised an eyebrow. "Can you two wear different clothes or something so I can tell you apart?"

"All better!" Luke exlaimed, hugging her back, glad to have a fully functioning body again. "Man, feels great."

"Uhm...I suppose?" Sage said, looking over at Mirror. "Melany...could you help her out?"

"Sure thing," Melaney nodded shakily, "U-um, where can w-we get new clothes?"

"My closet," Sage responded.

Kira found herself smiling uncontrollably, looking up at Luke. He looked a lot more confident than he had before. "Let's do something to celebrate!" she suggested. Today was a good day.

"Yeah, if you have an idea I'd love to," Luke agreed, flexing his healed arm.

Melaney nodded, pulling Mirror back inside quickly.

"I also need to talk to you about a few things." Nathan said. His gaze never left the real Sage.

"Um...ok..." Sage said, blinking in confusion.

"Eh? But you just go healed!" Kira protested. "Isn't there something you wanna do?"

Joey sighed in relief as he finished making extra houses for the Illuminati to stay in. He told them to find him if something happened, or they needed something else constructed.

So far, he had made quite a few, and was going around to check on the situation with everyone else, when he was passing by Sage's house, he paused. ...Um, should I be concerned by the two Sage thing? He asked.

I'm...I'm not sure really...

"Nope, not really. I'm always happy living with you, so it's hard to think of anything more special than our almost usual picnics," Luke mused, looking up at the sky as he thought.

"Don't worry it's nothing too bad, it's just to do with that trip we went on..." Nathan assured her.

Sage gestured for him to go on.

Kira blushed, brushing her hair behind her ear. "W-We can go on a picnic i-if you want," she offered.

"Sure, that sounds great," Luke replied with a big grin on his newly fixed face.

"Where do you want to g-go?" Kira asked, wondering what food they had in the ice box.

"Lake?" Luke asked, going for the easy solution, and wondering if the people from Nathan's village had enough food now that they had lost their stores.

"Sure. You get the food and I'll get the blankets and things?" Kira suggested, glancing back up at the treehouse.

"Yeah sure, though now I'm able to get into the treehouse without help!" Luke exclaimed happily, going over to the icebox.
