Utopia

Brief Timeline:
1st Year: Great Storm happens at the beginning of the year. The world is destroyed, more or less all people over eighteen years old are destroyed. There are six known adults who survived this, along with about the same number of late teens/twenty somethings. The Flow manifests, giving everyone abilities to do strange things. People tend to glow when try use their Flow, making it obvious.
2nd Year: At the beginning of the year, a handful of teenagers find an emerald tower in the wasteland, and are entered into a deadly tournament called the Acer Tournament. After about a week, there is a break-in to the tournament and many contestants go with a renegade sixth adult.
After another week, this faction attacks, and are defeated in a narrow and harrowing battle. The losers are imprisoned, while both the adult and his lieutenant were killed in the fight.
After about another week and a half, the tournament reaches its final day and the adults come good in their promise: Utopia.
Rest of 2nd Year to 7th Year: Adults govern peacefully and prosperously, the city's population balloons but expansion is handled reasonably well. Threats come from mutated creatures but that's about it.
7th Year: Adults abdicate under pressure and President Asquith takes charge. The Flow-Nulling Machine is discovered but tested for safety instead of being used.
8th Year: The Flow-Nulling Machine, commonly called the Nuller, is deemed useable. Nullings are primarily voluntary, though some are as a result of crimes.

Name: Russell Barksdale. Prefers to use Russ when he's around friends.
Sex: Male
Age: 25, turns 26 in two weeks.
Appearance: Tall, standing an inch or two over six foot and of a stocky build, with dark skin and cropped hair. He has a rather serious and quiet face, with a close cropped beard and a generally unreadable expression. His eyes are piercing and intelligent, coloured a deep brown. He has a small scar on his left cheek, but it's only really visible if you're looking for it and he tends to keep that side of his head facing towards a wall if it's possible, as he doesn't like to be reminded about it. He used to need glasses before he got his Flow, and he occasionally puts them on as he feels it helps him think better.
He tends to dress well, feeling that a man of his position should look sharp rather than shabby. He wears a black suit over a crisp white shirt and a tie that varies in colour. On his birthdays and on special holidays he likes to wear ties in silly colours like bright pink and act like everything's all normal and serious. When he's not working, or is simply lazing around his office/home, he wears a pair of loose fitting tracksuit bottoms, a white t-shirt, and stubbornly goes barefoot. As far as his expression goes, however, it is nearly always a poker face.
Personality: He is more of an observer than an influencer, though situation often forces him into the latter role. He is rather inquisitive, but he is never loud or abrasive in his pursuit knowledge, and he is always eager to both teach and learn. He prefers to find a new solution to something rather than rely on tradition, and is constantly re-evaluating situations and people. He will however, if flustered or desperate, fall back on to an unthinking operating system of relying on protocol, a remnant from his days as a soldier. The army could not, however, break his independence, and he far prefers doing his own thing privately than taking orders and being watched.
He has an unbending moral compass, however, and knows that the government he works for is corrupt and at times immoral. He does, however, truly believe that the terrorists who oppose him are the greatest threat to the innocents, and thus would like to stop them before attempting to change the system more peacefully. The fact that he will speak out against blatant wrongdoing even if it's from the police force meant that he didn't get the job of Police Chief or even lieutenant, and remained at Detective First Class, albeit a very important one. As such, he is regarded as a loose cannon and mostly works alone.
He is generally reluctant to stick his neck out for anyone, though, no matter who it is, and this means that while he is willing to point out that something is wrong, he often lacks the drive to change it. He will always try to help himself stay where he is if he can, as he feels he can affect a positive change the best from his position. He isn't heartless though, and is easily moved by pity and a need to protect the innocent, though his superiors have warned him that this is a weakness that can be exploited. He made the point that it was, after all, his job.
He has a tendency to overreact to violence, as he was involved in a child soldier army after the storms and suffers from a mild stress disorder because of it. He did, however, serve under some high-ranking members of the government, and this allows him to pull a certain amount of weight. When he is not working, he likes to distance himself from his job and either solve puzzles or learn about new things, something brought on by his Flow.
Flow: Intuitive Aptitude. This means that he can learn about something with just a glance, and masters things with a more careful studying look. Unlike some holders of this power, however, he can not take in others Flow, and is therefore limited to mastery of mundane and mortal things, though it is still extremely useful as a detective. His eyes glow blue slightly when he uses his power.
Other Skills: He is the master of a large amount of martial arts, and is gifted at both fixing and making things with limited resources. He is also very good at puzzle solving, and is of course hyper-observant.
Job/Stance: He works as a Detective First Class for the Utopian Police Department, and has secured a licence to use his Flow from the the government. He disapproves of the government, but feels that the terrorists and criminals are the most immediate and damaging threat.
History: Served in a child soldier army for many years after the Storm, before coming to the city at the start of its sixth year. He has been climbing the ranks of the police department ever since, though he voted for the adults to stay in the referendum.

Appearance: Due to shit happening since the tournament, she is clad head to toe in black clothing, concealing her weak, rotten body. She is also currently stuck in a wheelchair.
Personality: Due to shit happening, she can no longer understand the concept of pain. She considers herself to be an observer, a living artifact who’s sole purpose is to live on and tell her story to future generations. As such, she tends to associate with young children, albeit not directly.
Flow Power: Necromancy, of the summoning spirits type. Due to shit happening, the spirits she summon now become "distorted;" in exchange for their memories, they become empty puppets that she can twist to her command.
Other Skills: Again, she has the pocket watch that’s her soul jar. If it breaks, she’s gone for good.
Job/Alignment/Views: She’s pretty neutral about the situation, although if she were to choose sides, she would choose the government (kinda how she favored the adults over Shima back during the tournament). However, she doesn’t want to give out the wrong message by having her Flow Nulled (as that would be suicide), so yeah.
History: She actually died during the tournament, but was revived thanks to her powers. However, her body is merely a lifeless puppet controlled by her soul, so her revival did not prevent it from rotting. Also, because her soul is separate from her body, she can no longer feel pain.

Appearance: Let's just picture Zack Fair for a moment here, Before the Angeal killing. Then picture that little hair peice that seems to cover his eye. That's Zackary's hairstyle. He's also pretty much wearing the SOLDIER uniform now, instead of the Gokudera idea look I had before xP. His eyes are still an emerald green colouor, and looking at his arms, they're scared up from the backlash from focusing the wind too much years ago.
Personality: He's a stubborn honourable bastard, but also, puts others way before his own self. In the tournament, he was bleeding out, and carrying the twin's unconcious bodies. To get them that medical treatment. He's also, a loner. Often enough, he'll try to be alone, but if you somehow break through his sarcasm, and bs, you'd find...eh, he's an alright guy. Nothing much has changed him from the tournament.
Flow Power: Wind Manipulation~
Other Skills: Fencer, swordsman, and damn well proud of it. Used to play a lot of soccer.
Job/Alignment/Views: He won't show it, but he's actually really against the whole Flow nutralizing thing. He has a huge problem with it, for reasons, he won't explain. But of course, he's not one to say it since it would be a highly outnumbering fight. So he keeps his DL, and his opinion even lower.

Appearance: He is vaguely similar to how his former host looked, but you wouldn't be able to tell at a glance. He's about 5"11, with short white hair, and dark blue eyes. He has a lean build, and is well muscled, with slightly tan skin He usually wears his uniform while, but he'll opt to wear more casual clothes one the occasion, when he isn't on the job.
Personality: Snarky, and somewhat cynical, Percy knows the government is corrupt, but works in the Flow Response Unit, because he believes the terrorists to be worse. He is also working to root out most of the corruption in the government, by working his way up, while serving as a protector of the city, and only has to answer to the call of the president.
While he may make snarky comments (That sometimes lean on the fourth wall.) and jokes, he knows when it's time to get serious, and does his job to the best of his ability. He is also a bit compassionate, something he picked up from someone he knew.
Flow Power: Flow Neutralization
Other Skills: Skilled in the use of several types of fire-arms, as well as a bit of close combat. Is also very attentive of details, and contains a strong case of what he calls 'genre savvy'.
Job/Alignment/Views: Part of the Flow Response Unit, he knows the government is corrupt, but finds the terrorists the greater of two evils, so he works for the government, specifically the president, to stop the terrorists, and root out the corruption.
History: After the Acer Tournament, he found a way to get his own body, separate of Joey's, and has been apart of the city since the beginning. He was one of the first members of the Flow Response Unit, and is recognized as valuable member, thanks to his Flow. He currently lives in an upper-class building with two others.

Name: Luke Evans.
Sex: Male.
Age: 26.
Appearance: He's tall enough, standing at about 5'11", and is built athletically. He's definitely lean rather than overtly muscular though. He has unkempt blonde hair, and though he generally manages to stay clean shaven, he sometimes slips up and forgets. He has blue eyes that generally look a bit frustrated and cynical. These quickly become wary and he can look a bit haunted when he thinks no one's watching. He has a huge scar on his chest from being impaled on his own sword back in his Acer tournament days.
He dresses casually so as to avoid attention, and he generally wears jeans and a pair of simple shoes that look more fit for a hoodlum than anything else, and are certainly not anything fancy. He tends to wear button-down shirts over t-shirts, and tends to augment this with a dark hooded jacket so he's harder to spot if he's on the rooftops at night as he often is.
Personality: Luke's temperament generally matches his Flow, he is fiery and determined to a fault. He has a tendency to judge people before getting to know them, but if he likes you then he's so loyal one would think he'd been best friends with you since birth. He is admittedly rude and ill-mannered most of the time, and he always speak his mind and does it bluntly whenever he can. He does know when to keep his mouth shut, but he finds it difficult keeping his opinions to himself when asked about them, though he can generally lie reasonably well apart from this.
More than anything else in the world, Luke loves freedom, and would die before being caged up. This is part of the reason he fights the government instead of simply evading it, he detests the control they have, even if it does reduce crime. Freedom is paramount to him. He used to live with his old team-mate from the Acer Tournament, and was deeply in love with her, but has since been forced to go on the run, and stays out of contact because he knows they'd be expecting him and that it might endanger her.
In the three years he's been on the run, he has had people telling him to move on, and though he's unsure himself, he has begun to lean more on the side of letting both of them move on with their lives, or so he tells himself. He misses her deeply, though he keeps it buried well and hides it even from himself most of the time.
Flow: Manipulation of heat and fire. Pretty simple, he generally uses his Flow to cause explosions of flame or uses it as a boost to help him move around the city. He's pretty proficient, having been hardened in the tournament, though there are people stronger than him and he knows it. He also knows that if he trained there would be a lot fewer, but he's too poorly disciplined to do it anymore.
Water hurts him, though he has to bite the bullet to wash and that, so he's building up a resistance and pain tolerance.
Other Skills: Very handy with a knife or a sword, and carries around throwing knives with retractable steel cables to use as grappling hooks. He's also got rather sharp reflexes, especially when it comes to catching things.
Job: Works as a courier and hired hand for many of the anarchist cells, he's most strongly linked with Shima's 11 but he belongs to no group. Hates the authorities with a passion.

These quickly become wary and he can look a bit haunted when he thinks no one's watching. He has a huge scar on his chest from being impaled on his own sword back in his Acer tournament days.
He dresses casually so as to avoid attention, and he generally wears jeans and a pair of simple shoes that look more fit for a hoodlum than anything else, and are certainly not anything fancy. He tends to wear button-down shirts over t-shirts, and tends to augment this with a dark hooded jacket so he's harder to spot if he's on the rooftops at night as he often is.
Personality: Luke's temperament generally matches his Flow, he is fiery and determined to a fault. He has a tendency to judge people before getting to know them, but if he likes you then he's so loyal one would think he'd been best friends with you since birth. He is admittedly rude and ill-mannered most of the time, and he always speak his mind and does it bluntly whenever he can. He does know when to keep his mouth shut, but he finds it difficult keeping his opinions to himself when asked about them, though he can generally lie reasonably well apart from this.
More than anything else in the world, Luke loves freedom, and would die before being caged up. This is part of the reason he fights the government instead of simply evading it, he detests the control they have, even if it does reduce crime. Freedom is paramount to him. He used to live with his old team-mate from the Acer Tournament, and was deeply in love with her, but has since been forced to go on the run, and stays out of contact because he knows they'd be expecting him and that it might endanger her.
In the three years he's been on the run, he has had people telling him to move on, and though he's unsure himself, he has begun to lean more on the side of letting both of them move on with their lives, or so he tells himself. He misses her deeply, though he keeps it buried well and hides it even from himself most of the time.
Flow: Manipulation of heat and fire. Pretty simple, he generally uses his Flow to cause explosions of flame or uses it as a boost to help him move around the city. He's pretty proficient, having been hardened in the tournament, though there are people stronger than him and he knows it. He also knows that if he trained there would be a lot fewer, but he's too poorly disciplined to do it anymore.
Water hurts him, though he has to bite the bullet to wash and that, so he's building up a resistance and pain tolerance.
Other Skills: Very handy with a knife or a sword, and carries around throwing knives with retractable steel cables to use as grappling hooks. He's also got rather sharp reflexes, especially when it comes to catching things.
Job: Works as a courier and hired hand for many of the anarchist cells, he's most strongly linked with Shima's 11 but he belongs to no group. Hates the authorities with a passion.

Flow Power: The Armoury. Her Flow allows for the creation of various pocket dimensions that exist alongside our own, if out of phase with it. In these pocket dimensions she can store almost anything she wants, from using one as a temporarily holding cell, or even as a place to hide to storing items; such as supplies, clothing and equipment. For the most part however, she uses a large pocket dimension to store her collection of weapons she has gather from who knows where, which she can draw out and equip from her pocket dimension at any time she pleases, wherever she pleases.
However, each pocket dimension is different in since and will fade if no regularly recharged with energy, effectively erasing anything inside the pocket dimension alongside it when it fades, wiping whatever was inside from existence - that being said she can't just put someone else in one of these dimensions and erase it instantly, when a dimension is created it will remain in existence until it drains of all energy, Church can not willingly erase a dimension she has created no mater how hard she tries. When created however, the size of the dimension can not be altered, just recharged with fresh energy to maintain it, and she is limited to the number of dimensions she can create and maintain due to the massive amount of energy it saps from her. It is for this reason the only pocket dimension she maintains is the first, and largest one she ever created, by pure accident, which is the one she dubs 'The Armoury'.
Other Skills: She is noted for rather inhuman aim, though due to her preferred style of guns akimbo, this is a rather muted point given she can't aim as well whilst using two guns; still an above average shot. Because of this he dons a tattered and torn leather vest with several pockets for the ammunition he carries, a dirty t-shirt underneath. His pants consist of matted leather usually caked in mud, dirt, and grass. Upon his chiseled and scarred face rests an unruly beard cut by his Flow and a hunting knife. Upon his chest lies a bronze eagle, crafted by himself.
Personality: Does. Not. Give. A. Fuck. At all. Being a solitary person has made him that way. He's learned to watch his back and always look behind him. He's become the perfect hunter and tracker, able to follow anything, whether be it conventional methods or their energy signature. Not too deep of a person and not much more to him. He knows his business and is an ice cube.
Flow Power: Energy manipulation. Unfortunately, Paul has fallen out of practice with it and lost many of the even basic skills, such as gravity manipulation and electricity consumption. However, he has kept up with things like kinetic energy and natural energies, like fire. He has definitely mastered pinpoint pressure spikes, as it is an essential thing to have in trying to kill certain wild animals.
Other Skills: Hunter tracker. Excellent marksman with his updated AK-47, which he calls the AK-97
Job/Alignment/Views: He kinda works on the black market and has definitely gotten into a few tussles with the local security forces, but nothing flipping a couple vehicles wouldn't solve and then slipping away under the confusion. He doesn't like the new government and would help in any way to bring it down, but mostly works alone or with other parties in the wilderness.
History: After the Acer tournament, Paul kinda struck out on his own for a while, enjoying the Utopia as it was. He didn't really do much, kinda lazed around the outskirts, but he felt the change coming. After the first ousting of the Big Five, he left the city and started once again his solitary travels around the continent. He enjoyed visiting the colonies and villages around the countryside, gaining supplies and learning new skills. After he came back a few years later, he found the things had definitely changed. When he found out about the no Flow usage laws, he left immediately, battling away the authorities with his Flow. Still a master tactician, they had a difficult time combating on his own. He didn't know if he was still a wanted man or not, but he didn't bother venturing too far into the city. He mostly kept to the outskirts and ran his business with the mobsters and criminals.

Then the Storm hit and everything changed. She went from a proud young girl to a shrunk down fairy like girl who had to create her own life support to survive at her stature. she became cautious, scared, and even a little braver than she originally was. She became friendly and caring. As time went on, her personality changed. She somehow survived the Acer tournament and no one but she knows how, nor will anyone know, she says. She's taken to the new laws like a child takes to spinach. She's thrown them across the room, said screw that, and had a blast eating icecream. Not literally, of course but she does not follow rules. She has become a trouble maker and is next to impossible to find or catch.
Flow Power: As her Flow matured when she hit eighteen, it transformed her greatly. She gained complete, and I mean complete, control over herself and everything in her personal bubble, aka a two foot radius. While it would take her decades to make an actual difference on any landscape with her powers, she can freely change herself in any way and form she wants instantaneously. However, it can not leave that center of mass known as her bubble, so she must keep herself in a reasonable size, which means no super muscles or anything like that. She mostly uses her power to control the atoms and particles around her to create graffiti that is very difficult to alter. She can also use it to allow her free roam through solids, which makes detaining her extremely difficult However, she has met resistance from Percival, as he can negate her powers of particle manipulation, so she tries to keep a low profile when working on a graffiti project. Also, if a person is assaulting her, she can knock them out and such by altering their organs and the like, but refuses to harm people.
Other Skills: She's a natural artist and loves machinery
Job/Alignment/Views: A non-violent vandal.

She is very emotional, and has a lot of trouble controlling this as well. She misses Luke a lot, and is sometimes even angry at him for not coming home or ever talking to her, but that doesn’t last long.
Flow Power: Kira has the power to control plants, giving her a great affinity with them. When plants under her control are destroyed, she is hurt as well. She has trouble controlling her Flow, but wouldn’t give it up for anything.
Other Skills: She’s handy with a needle, and rather skilled at herbal remedies.
Job/Alignment/Views: When it comes to the government, Kira is rather passive. She hates them for making Luke leave, and not defending her when she needed it, but she’s also too unsure of herself to experience any real hate. Flow Power: Kira has the power to control plants, giving her a great affinity with them. When plants under her control are destroyed, she is hurt as well. She has trouble controlling her Flow, but wouldn’t give it up for anything.
Other Skills: She’s handy with a needle, and rather skilled at herbal remedies.
Job/Alignment/Views: When it comes to the government, Kira is rather passive. She hates them for making Luke leave, and not defending her when she needed it, but she’s also too unsure of herself to experience any real hate. She prefers to think that any wrong that may happen is just a misunderstanding.

Clue's eyes are Autumn, quite simply. And that's the only way to explain.
Their irises swirl with dancing russet hues, of orange, of red, of gold; you can see children laughing in her eyes, jumping in piles of leaves that feather the earthen ground. You can smell hot chocolate and sweet fireplace smoke as the cold approaches, the warmth hugging just you enough to keep your jacket off. Her eyes shine with the glowing hue of trees, their summer leaves turning red and gold and brilliant yellows. They're warm, they're dancing, they're playful; they're so many things mixed into a fall-touched forest and a honey brown that the idea is nearly too much to comprehend.
The general feel they give off is childish and playful.
Clueless is one of those people that has to constantly show her I.D to prove she's over the age 15. Despite being a good height, standing at 5' 7'', the girl has a smooth, soft face made softer by stubborn baby fat, childish cheeks, big honey-brown eyes and a blissfully warm smile that contrasts so darn much with the real world. Her hair is pretty much untameable, settling into its own spunky upwards style, which she tries to at least keep short so that it doesn't flop all over the place. With a bit of blue dye on the most stubborn of parts, it's actually worked quite well for her. That is, when people aren't saying it feels like puppy fur and messing it up with their insistent ruffling. Her skin is darker than white, but not too dark; consider a tad lighter than milk chocolate and a tad darker than caramel.
Her body would be considered slim, considering such a high metabolism, but she isn't bony. Despite an overall leanness she still manages to be curvaceous and formly, her body following the rough figure of an hourglass; softly curving, softly slimming, except for the area under her breasts, where her ribs are still a tad visible when she moves. Her frame is lithe or young; tiny waist that melds with a curve into her rear, then slimming down her legs with rather defines calves, her breasts big for somebody so thin but not so big that they look entirely out of place.
She's got long legs, hardly covered by a pair of worn shorts. Said shorts, however, are in turn covered by an over-sized and off-shoulder striped sweater; pajamas, legitimately. She used to have a pair of slippers, but they've recently become unfit for wear. Clue also sports a cute little bow-tie choker she found lying around one day; and, apparently, adores it.
~Personality~
Clue gives off those innocent, child-like vibes. She loves all animals and nearly all people, preferring not to fight. She tries to act tough from time to time but anybody could see she's a big softie, physically and mentally. There's quite a bit of energy to her and more than a bit of curiosity; a pinch of the spontaneous and a great big heap of loyalty. Just keep in mind that underneath all the silly antics and seemingly pointless escapades is a dangerously sharp wit and scorching hot passion in whatever she sets her mind to. Social anxiety disorder trips her up sometimes, especially in her speech, but with enough time she opens up.
~Flow~
Clue was born Flowless, whatever thing that gives one such individuality having failed to fill up before she was born prematurely. However, latent, there was still a capacity for something there. Her flow developed much later in life by accident when she was buried in a sandbox and nearly died. It was, in fact, the only thing that kept her from completely dying. But only now has it begun to manifest itself, and she’s finding it rather hard to control. Her Flow is a sort of spirit infused with her own; that of a poltergeist. In layman’s terms she can wield the abilities, characteristics, instincts and tendencies of a poltergeist, those being inseparable (i.e she cannot gain the abilities without the instincts), though not completely at will and often involuntarily.
~Other Skills~
She has a bird shaped vessel flute around her neck that she can play decently well, and she’s pretty good with marble bombs for basic self-defense. She’s fast and she’s smart despite seeming like a witless kid sometimes. Clue’s never been a good fighter. She doesn’t like to fight. But evasion is her specialty, and she’s been known to simply run away from the things that trouble her instead of face them. She’s a good cook, and she’s good at finding things. Her gut feeling is trusted in 100% by herself, and she has intuition that’s usually correct.
~Job/Alignment/Views~
She’s unemployed but she doesn’t seem to notice or care. Mostly she roams, finding things, selling them, or drawing something up and selling that. Alone she’s got enough to get by, and she’s always been a bit aloof to politics and the world around her. However she is quick and she’s passionate once she takes a stance. In this story she’ll take the side of whoever gets to her first and then with who’s more persuasive.
~History~
Family was decently wealthy, and they took care of her, even if their ways were a little strict and then overprotective. This underexposure is what makes her so naïve, so uniquely innocent, and perhaps a bit immature. The strictness is what gave her a hunger for freedom, and now she indulges in whatever sparks her curiosity. The real trouble was at school. She was a bit too smart, and the older kids around her found it funny, picking on her constantly and feigning friendship. She was too young to know that isn’t what friends do; by the time she got out her self-esteem was at rock bottom and her social skills had been shot. Other than this, her life wasn’t all too eventful. She’d hang out in pet shelters to volunteer, surrounding herself with other creatures since humans are so scary.

He’s pretty skinny, muscular in his legs like a girl but almost not at all in his arms. He’s not scrawny because he eats well, but he’s soft, and he isn’t very strong. Without his gear on, that is. He’s got a kind, accepting face with understanding blue eyes and a head of soft strawberry blonde hair that falls around his visage, curly and about mid-neck length. His cheeks are freckled and so are his arms. He’s just about the least intimidating a guy can get. He stands at 5’ 11’’ and is decidedly underweight.
His dressing is a bit odd, but he loves it because he engineered it. He wears black boots as high as his kneecaps, a blue t-shirt the color of his eyes and a black peacoat with blue buttons, cloth infused with blue designs that look like the pattern on a circuit board, something he can easily claim has nothing to do with flow and completely with his punny sense of humor and his profession. He usually wears black fingerless gloves that go to his elbows, blue patterns on them tracing what his skeleton would look like but as a circuit board and not bones. Then he wears Jeans. Just…normal jeans. And maybe a scarf when it’s cold. He’s very picky about what he wears, especially since his wardrobe has been infused with mechanics. It’s always nice to have your headband play music, your pockets organize themselves, or your gloves make ultrasound waves. The basics.
~Personality~
Obby is nearly the opposite of Clue, though he is passionate and he is willing to indulge his curiosity within means. He’s more logical, similarly aloof from his peers but more by will. He’s his own person, and he doesn’t like the concepts of society at all. He’s not short tempered but he is exasperated pretty easily, especially by Clue; if she says that Narwhales actually existed at some point again he might just go insane. He’s a lot more focused, and while he likes to have fun he wouldn’t put himself or those he loves in danger for it. Obby is easily embarrassed, preferring to sit alone and tinker with his metals instead of bore people with what he has to say.
~Flow~
Cyberkinesis, paired with a generally impressive knowledge about technology; a given, seeing what his Flow is. He can’t control electricity directly unless it is in contact with technology or for technological reasons, meaning that he’s powerless against things like lightning (unless he plans honestly to put it in a battery or a car or something).
~Other Skills~
He’s a good reader? Really, he doesn’t have quite the broad scale of talents but he’s happy with what he’s got. He’s good with machines, good with tinkering with things, putting them together and taking them apart. His machines do the rest. Or they could, but he doesn’t make so much. He’s afraid the government will find out, so he just makes tiny things like toys to satisfy himself; secretly he longs to create something huge, in concept and in size.
~Job/Alignment/Views~
He works as a technician, since it comes so easily for him. He’s fixed computers and things for people all over, actually only using his Flow minimally. Again, he doesn’t want to get caught. He’s afraid of the government and afraid of getting his flow taken; he’s afraid of a lot. But if he could…if he felt like he could, he’d overthrow the government in a heartbeat.

Nothing special. He was mostly normal during his childhood until he decided he didn’t care much for people, then shrinking back from society to play with his toys.

Elena feels possibly unrequited affection for Simon, and is very attached to him.
