Reaching Salvation: Post-Acer Part 1

"I meant the cynical life. However..." Erika turned to the girl. "Being either fully Optimistic or fully Cynical I think could have consequences." Her eyes caught sight of Joey and smiled, lifting her hand up in a wave.

"Hey!" He called back running over to her.

Christina shrugged and turned to see who she was waving at. "Hello, friend!" she said when the boy came up to them.

Joey slowed down whe he got close to them, and noticed Erika's new friend. "Um...hi?"

"Hey," Erika replied, wanting to do her customary hug, but decided that introductions came first. "I met a wanderer while walking this morning. Christina Pendleton, meet Joey Hadden. Joey, meet Christina.

Joey nodded at the wanderer. "Nice to meet you, Christina."

Christina held her hand out. "It's nice to finally meet you!" she said, smiling.

Joey nodded as he shook her hand. "...'Finally'?"

"Yep! Everyone in the world is my friend, I just haven't met them all yet." Christina said happily.

"Ok, I guess that makes sense." Joey said.

"Of course it makes sense, silly!" Christina laughed.

Adeline walked on the streets of the village, the horse spirit following behind her. She was examining a scratch on her pocket watch.

Heidi frowned, skidding to a stop near Erika, Joey, and a strange girl, stepping in front of Simon. Her spear uncoiled from her arm and quickly formed in her hand. "Who th' hell is she?" she asked, aiming her crimson spear at the girl's stomach.

"Hello, friend! I'm Christina! It's nice to finally meet you!" Christina smiled, and held her hand out.

"Heidi, I checked her Flow. She's good so far..." Erika warned, while Simon looked at the new girl, though making sure to keep his distance.

Christina saw the boy lurking as well, and waved. "Hello, friend! It's nice to finally meet you too!"

"Christina, this Heidi, she and Erika are two of the leaders f this village." Joey explained. Although, her personality, attitude, tendency to jump to the first conclusion, and how she frequently shrugs off important duties. has made her very unpopular among the villagers...Not that I blame them, I just really wish they didn't bring their complaints to me...

"Oh! That's really cool! You guys must be awesome leaders then!" Christina laughed.

OOC: Book, stop making up shit about Heidi. Just 'cuz she doesn't like Joey doesn't mean she slacks off in the whole world.

Heidi stared at the new girl, a little taken aback. "Um...Erika, I don't like this. She freaks me out. I don't freak out, dammit!" At least she had lowered her spear.

"I'm sorry. I don't mean to freak you out. If you want, I could stop a bullet for you!" Christina grinned.

"A bullet," Heidi deadpanned. "What, is someone gunning for my life? I bet it's Joey and his 'maginary friend."

Christina pulled out a gun she carried for hunting. "I could always help with that." she grinned happily.

Joey quickly grabbed the gun, using his Flow to break it apart. "What the Hell!"

Heidi held her spear back up, glowing a pale red as she made sure Simon was behind her. "Put the gun down or I'll make your brain explode."
She exhaled, when Joey took the gun, although her Flow was still trained on the new girl. "Sorry, Erika, but that was a little on the crazy side."

"That was my hunting gun you just took. I need a new one now." Christina frowned slightly.
