By the way, I ran the numbers and you are about 3000ft away from the group, so a bit more than half a mile.

As you stalk backwards among the forest, you hear the sounds of feet on forest floors, and the shapes of 2 wolves among the trees, bringing with them 3 warped snarling creatures, ears pointed and teeth jagged, dressed in a tribal form with a dagger clasped in their fidgeting hands.

Roll Initiative, and no grid for this fight, seeing as you are in the forest.

For purposes though they are surrounding you and are about 15 feet away from you, organized like a pentagon.

Wolves Initiative Count: 3

Goblins Initiative Count: 14

Remember, you can always run away as a strategy, or just shoot these green bastards for all the XP. You can sprint back to camp and be their in 10 minutes, but you'll be making Fort Saves and stuff involving Endurance all the while, and will most likely be fatigued afterward.

Or Once again, shoot the bastards and get all the XP.

The small green savage creatures begin to charge at you, and almost seem to get on all fours as they do, their faint snarling reminescent of the wolves that they stand by, and as the first one charges forward, your prepared elven reflexes carry you away from the first blow.

Then the second one charges forward from behind you, leaving you in a tough position, where it digs straight at your armor but scores only a graze in it's maddened momentum.

The last one charges forward and manages to just graze you with the serrated edge, but still leaving a cut on your skin.

You take One Damage.

You are flanked and the spaces right in front of you, behind you and to your left are taken. Making Ranged Attacks in Melee range of a guy triggers an attack of Opprotunity (meaning that shooting arrows from your given position will lead to mass stabbings from the tiny creatures). You can move 30ft per round.

You have 7/8 HP

and the Wolves have yet to respond, and it's your turn.

Yeah, that works. Move Action to draw a weapon, Standard Action to attack.

However, it seems your attack digs into the hide shirt that the creature wears, rather than into the Hide of the tiny creatures with daggers.

Next the Wolves charge forward, trying to tear into you and get the juciy bits inside.

One of them, in it's mad charge seems to fail amazingly and falls onto it's own paws due to loose dirt.

The Second one manages to get under your skin with it's teeth dealing 3 points of damage and putting 2 tooth shaped holes in your armor.

You are at 4 HP, and the Goblins go, trying to pierce you open again.

and with the Wolves trying to attack you the goblins seem to hesitate, just slowly swarming tighter around you with only 2 openings to escape from avaliable to you, as they snarl menacingly at you.

It is now your turn again.

The multipliers equal how many times your move speed you are moving per round, the first is for miles of distance, the second (with the same multipliers, is what applies to tactical movement. And remember, you are 3000 feet out from the camp.

Walk
A walk represents unhurried but purposeful movement at 3 miles per hour for an unencumbered human.

Hustle (x2)
A hustle is a jog at about 6 miles per hour for an unencumbered human. A character moving his or her speed twice in a single round, or moving that speed in the same round that he or she performs a standard action or another move action is hustling when he or she moves.

Run (×3)
Moving three times speed is a running pace for a character in heavy armor. It represents about 7 miles per hour for a human in full plate.

Run (×4)
Moving four times speed is a running pace for a character in light, medium, or no armor. It represents about 14 miles per hour for an unencumbered human, or 10 miles per hour for a human in chainmail.

Walk

Run
A character with a Constitution score of 9 or higher can run for a minute without a problem. Generally, a character can run for a minute or two before having to rest for a minute.
