Nightfall, Children of the Elements

Suzume shrugged from where she rested her head. She was thinking back on her home...

"Um, do you know any folk songs or lullabies?" Manda inquired.

Danny finished setting up in the house, leaving an emergency bag, containing the bare minimum for what he would need to survive that couldn't be easily found. It was just in case he had to leave in a hurry, and they were only spares so he would still have everything he wanted in the tower. He left it hidden but relatively easy to access.

Xone, seeing the masked boy walk away without acknowledging him, went off to the tower to see what was up. When he got there, he saw the plant guy, along with two girls. "What's up here?" he asked, seeing the reed pipes.

Neveah, seeing the two boys separate, followed Danny. Seeing him enter a house, she turned away and went to the tower, climbing to a window with branches growing out of it and grabs one, pulling herself in. She then heads down to the second floor, seeing a girl by the stairwell.

Wonderful, more people. Just what I fucking love... "I'm leaving." Suzume simply stated, pushing herself to her feet.

"My mom used to play me one when I was a little kid. I think it was called Lugia's Song or something like that." Aculeus brought up the reed pipes and began to play his mother's lullaby.

Suzume started to walk away.

Danny, emergency escape route set, trekked back through the snow and towards the entrance to the tower.

Manda watched worriedly as Suzume walked, but couldn't leave once the song started. She loved music, though she could never herself keep a tune.

Aculeus finished the song, "Well Manda, what did you think of the song?" He actually hoped that she liked it.

Suzume wandered down the hallway, stopping a fair distance away and cursing. She absolutely hated the fact Aculeus wasn't buying her bitch act, which wasn't much of an act. And was bothering to try to understand her.

And that, was the last thing she actually wanted.

"Its wonderful. For some reason it reminds me of the sea..." Manda replied.

Sam frowned when Sparrow decided to leave. At least Manda was still there with Aculeus. She giggled again, and turned around, almost bumping into another girl. Sam's face instantly took up a blank expression, and she stared at the girl with wide eyes. "Who are you?" she asked, her voice having as much emotion as her expression.

"Uhm," Aculeus had forgotten to watch where Sparrow had gone because of the song. Crap. "Manda, did you see where Sparrow went?"

"Down that hallway." Manda pointed.

"Do you think we should follow her or leave her alone?" Aculeus was wondering if Sparrow was getting annoyed by him.

Suzume sighed, and leaned against the wall. Feeling the coldness on her back, somewhat.

Josephine yawned as she wandered around the tower, her hood pulled over her messy brown hair. She hadn't slept in for a long time.

Kari sighed, wandering around the tower. "Huh, I wonder if there's a searching spell in that book."
Shantak glared down at the boy, a somehow unamused look on the bird's face.
"Hey, I was just wondering," the boy said, digging through his star-shaped bag and pulling out a little book. "It would make this job a whole lot easier."

Manda shrugged. "I don't know. Sparrow ma'am can be nice when she wants to be I think."

"I think we should just wait," Aculeus told the girl, "We may have brought up bad memories." He thought for a moment longer, "So Manda, have any good stories to share?"

Suzume sighed, and started to head back. May as well.

Danny entered the tower silently, scraping the thicker-packed snow from his l boots with the flat side of a knife. Once done, he let his long coat a ltitle bit looser because he was out of the cold and began wandering the tower, keeping an eye out for handy escape routes.

Before Manda could think of anything Suzume had walked back in.

Maybe she isn't annoyed by me. Good. "Oh, hello again Sparrow." Aculeus grew a vine on the table and began to make it dance like a snake. "Let's go do something people, I'm kind of bored."
