Nightfall, Children of the Elements

Xone woke up, feeling pretty well rested, and looked around the house for some clothes. The dogs had taken a few things for beds, but he found some clothes that halfway fit. He also found a nice big jacket, donned it, and jumped out the window, as the door was blocked, to see what was up. He saw someone walking away from the tower, and what could have been a fire in one window, but other than that saw nothing of consequence. He walked over to the person, noticing the boys mask, and said, "Hey."

Neveah was a heavy sleeper, and was still asleep when she heard someone near the house talk. She got up and looked out the window, seeing the boy from before and another wearing a mask. She decided to observe.

Aculeus looked up at the girl and in the most neutral voice he could muster he said, "No. You." He got up and dusted himself off. "So Sam, what do you want to do today?"

Suzume yawned and stretched. Leaning against the wall as she waited for Manda.

Manda came out wearing her sweater and leg warmers up to her knees, holding a large jacket in her arms. "It smells a little musty, but it'll work."

"Can't be picky these days." Suzume commented.

"Guess not... you think people somewhere still make clothes?" Manda asked as she also put on her knitted hat.

"I can try to make something," Suzume said with a shrug.

"Woah, you can sew?" Manda said, her eyes big.

"I can do a lot of things," Suzume said again shrugging. "I can even do a bit of oragami."

"...Can you make a crane fo rme sometime?" Manda asked.

"Of course, once we find some paper." Suzume said.

Ooc: Gonna have fun with Suzume today... :p

"Woo-hoo!" Manda cheered. "Then let's be off in search of paper!"

"Alright," Suzume said and chuckled.

Manda marched outside after putting on her coat, opening the door and walking out into the cold, any snow in her way she turned to water.

Suzume followed after her in her own winter coat.

"Do you think they'll have any at the tower?" Manda asked.

"Possibly," Suzume said, musing over that idea. "They might have something for paper, yes."

"Maybe they'll have soemthign for breakfast, too." Manda suggested with a smile.

"Maybe," Suzume said with a shrug.

Danny continued outwards, lighting a cigarette and heading into the town proper before disappearing into a house.

Sam got up, dusting herself off, then pulling Aculeus to his feet. "I just want to keep myself distracted. We could go bother Sparrow and Manda." She winked when she mentioned Sparrow. She then proceeded to start dragging Aculeus down the stairs.

Suzume searched for the paper long and hard. Eventually, she did find a few sheets, so she told Manda about it and then set herself to work on the orogami duck.

Manda nodded, excited for the oragami as they continued to walk across Denver.

"Let's see if we can find a table, or something," Suzume said, before adding in, "preferably, one that's not covered in snow or wet."

"What? I'm pretty sure that Sparrow is still mad at me," Aculeus told Sam as he was pulled down the stairs by the little earth girl. I hope this doesn't lead to another battle between Sparrow and I. After that thought, Aculeus found that he couldn't stop thinking about Sparrow. I wonder what her favorite flower is? Probably not a rose. . .
