Mage: The Academy

"How about now!?" Jaden demanded. Kuruu sighed flapping his wings.

"I will never understand this girl." he said aloud.

Faye noticed the others take out their items and looked around. "Shoot, I have to summon my skates..."

Zayden walked into view of his sister, trying to change...again. He sighed, rubbing his forehead as Kuruu flew over and landed on his head, dropping the charm into his hand.

"Zade...she's doing it again." the wyvern said.

Zayden sighed again. "I wonder how long she'll take to realise this, this time."

Felix watched Jaden try to transform again and again, sweatdropping. What a strange girl...but not as weird as- He turned to see Ester still hugging Cat and sighed. "Stop that. You'll suffocate the poor thing."
Ester frowned and hugged the cat even tighter. "But it's so cute~!"

John just sweatdropped at the antics of the people around him.

"And...now I believe that you're the only sane one here," Kuruu said to the boy, who just rubbed his eyes.

"Let's just go appoligise if Jaden bothered them..."

Cat bit down on Ester's thumb.

Zayden walked over, placing a head on Jaden's head. "Sorry if my sister has caused any of you troubles. I appoligize for her."

"Ah, it's okay," Felix said, pointing over at Ester. "I'm used to the weirdness."
"Eep!" Ester threw Cat up into the air, looking at her thumb. She appeared to smile when she saw a little bit of blood come out, before shaking her head and wiping it off her shirt.

"Still," Zayden said patting the girl's head to ensure she couldn't respond. "We'll leave you all alone now. Come, Jade."

"Faye!" Cat yelled. The girl caught her familiar.
"Did you really have to shake Cat like that?" Faye frowned at Ester.

"I can't help it~! It's so cuuuuttteee~!" Ester said, smiling.

"Okay, then," Felix said, shrugging. "If you ever need help, you can always ask me."

Faye contiued to frown, not impressed, before turning to Felix. "Are we going to get our rooms soon?"

"They usually take two or three days trying to decide how to sort people into the dorms," Felix said, shrugging. "Until then, you'll be staying at the inn."

"Alright..." Faye sighed.

"Oh! OH! She can stay with us!" Jaden cried out before her brother whacked her.

"I'm fine with it," Kuruu said before being whacked by Zayden as well.

"Apparently, I am the only morally sound one here..."

"Really?" Faye asked, looking at the three with shining eyes.

"No---"

"Of course!" Kuruu and Jaden both said and cut off Zayden.

"...I guess I'm outvoted..." Zayden groaned.

"Thank you very much!" Faye exclaimed.

Zayden sighed and pulled out his dagger and started to twirl it again.

"Yay! We aquired a room mate!" Jaden exclaimed.

"Victory pose." Kuruu said.

"Yay." Cat replied unethusiastically, but was thankful that they would have to sleep outside.

Looks like I'm not the only one happy about this arrangement. Zayden thought with a sigh as he heard Cat. "If our room only has two beds, I'm claiming my own."

"Okay. I can sleep on a sofa or ask for extra blankets." Faye replied.

Zayden shrugged. "Whatever works. I'm Zayden by the way. Specialty..." his dagger suddenly shifted into a Long sword. "that."

John just stood away from the group, feeling kind of left out.

...Why did it have to be a cat.
