Mage: The Academy

"Just like how not all Standard Mages are boring like my brother?" Jaden asked, putting a finger to her chin as she thought.

"Sure..." John said. "So...you're a Forbidden Mage as well?"

"A-yup!" Jaden nodded and then grinned.

"Cool?" John said with a smile, glad to meet someone like him. "What's your form like?"

"Want me to show you?" Jaden asked, still grinning from ear to ear.

"Sure." John said, smiling back. "And I'll show you mine as well."

"Kay~" she said as her tail grew out, as did her fox like ears. "Ta-da!"

"Whoa, cool." John said, onestly impressed by the form.
He hadn't really met another Forbidden Mage before.

"Heh, thanks," Jaden said, smiling at the boy, before backflipping.

John's eyes widened when she did so. "Awesome..."

Jaden blinked at the boy. "Awesome? I used to be a gymnest..."

"Oh..." John said. "But still, that was pretty cool."

Jaden smiled. "Thanks. Now it's your turn!"

John nodded, before suddenly a pair of angel wings sprouted out fro his back, and he began to be lifted into the air.

"..." Jaden's eyes went wide. "A-are you an angel...?" she asked bluntly.

"N-no..." John said, with an embarassed smile. "My Mage Form just makes me look like one..."

Jaden blinked and looked at his wings. "...I think you are one!" She stated, as if it were a fact.

"N-no...this is just my Mage form, just like how you grow a taill and fox ears." He said, landing on the ground.

"...I still say you are!" Jaden said, huffing and puffing her cheeks.

John sighed. "Anyway...i this form, I'm actually able to fly." He explaied, rising up a couple of feet with a single flap of his wings.

Jaden smiled up at John. "That's awesome!"

"I'm also able to carry another person for a bit." He explained further, landing back down on the ground.

"Again, awesome!~ All I get in this form thingy is being able to jump higher and have better control over my magic," Jaden said as she changed back.

"That's still pretty cool." John said, changing back as well.

"Not as cool as having wings!" Jaden responded.
